With Pokemon’s 27th anniversary quickly approaching on February 27th I thought it would be fun to hear what everyone’s wild predictions and hopes are for the future of Pokémon.
I am hoping they will finally release Pokémon R/B/Y & G/S/C on the Nintendo Switch eshop and my wild and irresponsible hope is that they also release R/S/E. There has not been a legitimate way to purchase RSE (the originals) in almost 20 years.
Would love to hear your hopes and wishes too

They are going to release an Evolutions style reprint of the 2nd gen Pokémon from the Neo series.
Not only releasing the GB PTCG game for the eshop but also releasing the second one with team rocket cards and both pokemon pinballs. Less speculation and more a wishlist.
I absolutely love the Let’s Go games. My dream is that they release Let’s Go Johto and include Kanto, like original gen 2.
They’ve already announced GB & GBA on the switch with the Pokémon trading card game as one of the launch titles. I’m sure we’ll get R/B/Y on the switch eventually.

Pokémon Legends: Celebi. Set in ancient Johto, and chasing after the Legendary Beasts and huge battles with Ho-Oh and Lugia would be insane!!

There is SUCH an opportunity for this! Can you imagine if Celebi could time travel you back and forth from future to past. It would be a dream.

Safest guess would be DLC for S/V. With a big fix patch etc.
But as other have said, announcement for a new Legends game or Let’s Go Jhoto edition would be crazy hype, but those will be slated for next year release.
Maybe another 3rd party remake for the mainline games like black and white.
