Seems like it probably is Seel or Seaking. Seel was in the anime as mistys pokemon so Seaking would probably win at this point.

Seel/Dewgong need an evolution or regional or something.
At least Seaking is a better design, though it could use an evolution as well.
Whenever I do the guess 151 Pokemon, I tend to miss out the same batch of Pokemon though they arenāt necessarily forgettable; Meowth line, Diglett line, Slowpoke line, Doduo line, Drowzee line. More so itās easy to remember groups of Pokemon in the Pokedex like how Abra/Machop/Bellsprout/Gastly/Geodude are 3 stage lines near each other, starters followed by birds/rodents/bugs etc

Yep, so forgotten that I wouldnt have placed the visible fins as part of its design ahead of almost every other fish pokemon.
Also thats the smallest xatu ever.

NO! Just, NO! Porygon is one of the most iconic pokemon from this gen, alteast for someone who has had the chance to experience kanto in any way.

I loved Magmar as a kid and desperately wanted it to destroy Charizard. Also RIP to Blaineās Magmar for never having a holo despite getting such a cool episode in the anime.

Not being able to catch Magmar in Yellow was a major problem to 8-year old me.
Blaine not having a Magmar on his team was also a problem.

Missingno is definitely not forgotten by fanbases, its the most known of the errorāmon from Gen 1.
