- Bought 2 Base Set #2 packs for a total of $15 that I opened with my sister for nostalgia. She got an Item Finder for her rare and I got a Holo Magneton.

2002 maybe? Would have either been Jungle or Base Set 2. I never opened any Neo/e-Reader cards, despite my favourite PokƩmon being from the Neo-era.

Opened (4) Base Set Heavy Packs. Got Blastoise, Zapdos, Magneton & Alakazam. I wanted that little kid feelingā¦ didnāt disappoint

Had to have been 2015-2016 when prices for packs were reasonable. I think it was an unlimited Neo Genesis pack and I pulled a Steelix. I miss when WOTC packs were affordable to open. Prices are outrageous these days.

Its been quite some time for me.
Probably early 2019. I think the last time I opened packs was Japanese base set. Pulled a Venusaur and chansey, both look like potential 10s so Iāll maybe grade them one day. I donāt think Iāll ever open WOTC packs again, costs are just getting too high. Iāll just keep everything I have sealed at this point.
2003? I remember opening quite a few aquapolis packs back in the day but never made it to the nintendo era. I remember being super excited to open a holo tyranitar from aquapolis since it was my favorite pokemon at the time. I wish I still had my old collection 
Literally better to hold on to them till people start going chasing hard for 10s in WOTC sets, Iāve only had 3 jungle boosters (1st edition light/2 Unlimted Heavy) since December and Iāve seen a small rise in price, itās gonna be worth opening them if the cards go up silly amounts Iām still new to this so idk somebody else can chip in to this
I think the last pack I opened was Legendary Collection and pulled a holo articuno and reverse abra.
2019 summer, I did open few 1st Jungle packs.
Pulled holo: Nidoqueen psa8, Kangaskhan psa8, MR Mime psa9 and Wigglytuff psa9.
It was so fun to open some wotc packs, no regrets but the rest I have remains sealed.
1-2 months ago. Team Rocket 1st edition, pulled a Dark Hypno.
Probably 17 years ago now. I do have sealed packs of Base-Gym Challenge but I have no need to open them
1st edition gym pack I bought on Amazon in 2017 that had an Erikaās Venusaur.

Next week I plan to open two ex-era piplup tins I bought from ebay that are hopefully arriving tomorrow. Should be 8 ex-era packs inside from gold-star sets. 4x power keepers, 2x delta species, 2x dragon frontiers. Iāll record and maybe someday post it, but probably only if I get something cool. I know itās likely negative NPV, but I plan to eventually collect all of those sets.

Oh wait sry those arenāt WOTC cards. Last week I opened a 1st ed fossil pack. Got a non-holo articuno as the rare. Not terribly exciting but the pack had been given to me. I assume it had been weighed so was not expecting a holo
Opened a unlimited base set pack a year or so ago. No holo 
I recently did a light team rocket 1st ed pack for fun. I pulled non holo dark charizard!
I donāt know why I said for fun thatās redundant.

I honestly canāt tell you if/when I last opened a WOTC pack. I just got into collecting vintage PokĆ©mon last July and I never bought a pack to open. Mainly chasing individual cards. I would have to go all the way back to when Pokemon was first released to say that I may have opened WOTC packs. But I have no recollection as I was just a youngster.
