Some weekend deliveries. All for the binder (my first) which is proving to be an extremely enjoyable thing to try to fill.
The Dark Dragonite from Rocket’s Silver Deck is probably my favourite card and after seeing so many amazing binder collections, especially enjoying full pages of one card, a side goal will be to complete that.

Absolutely love these Gym Badge promos. These XY-P unnumbered promos are really something else. The Kanto holographic gym badge set was surprisingly very hard to get initially. Really awesome pickup. Thanks for sharing.

Agreed! I got the kanto holos awhile back and have always admired these Hoen badges too. Something in the market is screwy about them though. It feels like most collectors are just completely disinterested in them given there’s such little graded pop.

As many of you know, the 1999-2000 Australian Red Logo Fossil rares are some of most obscure and rare cards in the hobby. These boxes/packs displayed a red logo rather than a yellow logo to counteract counterfeits coming from Asia at the time of their release.
All commons, uncommons, and non-holo rares were given a 1999-2000 copyright, but the holo rares were printed with the 1999 copyright. One could expect roughly 24 randomized 1999-2000 non-holo rares per box out of 15 possibilities from the set. Only two Australian Red Logo Fossil booster boxes are available on eBay right now (~$30,000 and ~$50,000), and individual packs are listed for $700+.
The Australian Red Logo rares are a monumental pain in the ass to find in gem mint condition, and almost never show up in auction. For a Dragonite species collector, this card is the most frustrating and miserable to find, bar none (pop 2 in PSA 10; 20 total graded by PSA).
Last week on Pokemon Day, I was lucky enough to finally close this chapter. Huge thanks to @TCAGaming for listing this card in auction.
