I am very happy to add the first crystal card to my collection!!!
Such a beautiful card, always loved all the crystal cards design and really wanted to start the collection. Found this one really cheap in the Spanish local market and had to buy it, will rack it and send it for grading to PSA, if it gets a 6 I will be more than happy as the price I bought it was very good

Happy to inch a little bit closer to some collection goals! I’m trying to collect all B&W ultra rare shinies in PSA 8 or better and all of Ooyamas illustrations in PSA 10 (except for tropical mega battle and the prototype chansey, even though I’d obviously love to lol).
My first ever booster box I bought with my own money was Plasma Storm and Gen 5 is my favourite generation so it seemed like a perfect fit to go after the ultra rares, really scratches that nostalgia itch.
And the Vmax promos were just too beautiful to pass up!

Rarely get a chance to buy nice vintage MTG anymore, but every once in a while I stumble across an opportunity. I just cannot find these anywhere for sale at this point, especially in this condition. Some of my favourite artworks by far and both just fantastic cards in their own right. I don’t have many Alpha cards but I love getting any that I can, just like 1st Edition Pokemon. I think the CGC could bump to a BGS 9.5 so I’ll eventually re-grade it, such a beautiful copy overall.

One more arrived in the mail today, just missing gyarados and Charizard ( will be arriving soon) to complete the Spanish 1st holo set 
will also be sent to PSA for grading, crossing fingers and hoping for a PSA 9!

Recently bought this phone card that I’ve never seen before. Don’t know if it is an official pokemon phone card or not, but I loved the look of it so I had to buy. If anyone has seen another or knows anything about this one, then please let me know as I haven’t found anything on it yet.

Finally got around to taking photos of the new slabs, but THIS ONE! The “Nirvana Squirtle”! I’d seen it many times, but never with a good finish. Glad I went with the PSA 8 for the personal collection. My new favorite Arita art.

After a very long time searching for a decent priced one got my hands on it!!!
Will also crack it and send it to PSA, it was previously a PSA 9 and the previous owner sent it to BGS, hope to get the 9 again

Absolutely agree with you! With this one I complete my collection of the Nidoking WOTC era holo cards, and to complete all the holo nidoking cards I think I am only missing the Ex dragon card, as the fire red/leaf green already have it. I feel like they could have given nidoking a bit more of love, he doesn’t have that many cards for what he means to the og Pokémon community

The plush and the Kids figure were from Japan, and whilst I was out and about I grabbed the Eevee three-pack to check out Astral Radiance, and happened to find the staks magnet in a second-hand store. I spent so long going back and forth thinking it was a bootleg because of the typo, but they really just made it ‘Eeve’!

I’ll probably de-sub the jirachi at some point to match the rest but I have been waiting forever to take a pic with these 3 together. If you told the new collector 2 of these 3 cards are $500+ while 1 is about $100 I genuinely think they’d have a hard time picking if they didnt know about wotc/nintendo splits. The art is very similar and the vibe they all give off is so special. I honestly think that jirachi may be one of the best non wotc arts of all time.

And third Crystal card received!! Will be interesting sending all this cards to PSA for grading and see how this minor grading companies work, but the prices I’ve been paying are very good for the card conditions!
