Actually this is the only “new” gyarados I owned besides my oldschool collection cos the art was amazing. I sold it and I regret it so much

This one looks insane. I like the Aquapolis and the Jungle is just too classic, maybe it’s just nostalgia talking

Yes, and yes.
It’s a tough contest for my favorite Pokemon, but Salamence is certainly one of them and I think this is the greatest card of Salamence ever printed!!

Everyone has a top1 poke, but what’s your fav card art of it? Here are my top 1 and 2
Magikarp by Mitsuhiro Arita, from SoulSilver Collection
Gyarados by Aya Kusube, from Pokémon VS
Lances gary is one of my favorites as well. I love all the art from that set.
Dunsparce is one of my favorite pokemon because of this art!
I love ditto and I love charmander. this is the best of both
My favorite got to be venusaur. My goal for a long time was a psa 9 1st edition base venusaur
Its so hard for me to chose a favorite art of my favorite Pokemon (mewtwo & blastoise), but this is one I always think of when thinking of “favorite”. I saw it in the 90s at a coin/card shop. It was my first experience with vending, and it blew my mind that a pokemon card could look that way. Also Electrode was my first pull.
