It’s funny because I wanted to post a similar thread to wondering what’s up? lol
For me I’ve slowed down my buying, slightly, and only purchase the first edition base psa 9’s when they are for a good price considering the current market. I also have finally been able to see the difference between the PSA grades and can tell that some of my 9’s could have been a 10, on a good day, and some of them should probably be an 8, on a bad day. So now when I purchase any PSA graded cards I make sure to really look them over.
I purchased some shining legends booster boxes off of amazon, best price, and plan to open them soon for fun. I scan ebay daily for any good deals on what I’m looking for. So I get a couple graded cards per week. I noticed PSA 9 1st edition base holos at a new low and sniped a bunch for the low $300’s. They came in and were in phenomenal condition! I think they could almost be considered weak 10’s so I was very happy! Don’t get me wrong, they are 9’s, but in such great condition it’s nice to almost not notice a single flaw on the card versus many of my 9’s with obvious flaws that make them a 9.
Common/uncommon base 1st are seeing some super low prices. I grabbed a bunch in the teens, dollar amount, and some under $10 shipped! No joke. How are they going for so low? I feel like I’m taking crazy pills! smpratte quote. lol
Personally, very stressed applying for pediatric dental residency. I work 6 days a week and it can be grueling putting in 65+ hours a week working and volunteering an additional 8 hours. Nice to come home to another cool card though.
