Decided to only get one of the new sets vice WOTC and finished the entire set of Shining Legends 78/73. Heading to Las Vegas today too

I’ve got a few new slave cards, nothing worth showing.
I was at Gamestop on Friday and they had the new Celestial Storm booster packs. All boosters were $4 and it was a buy one get one half off sale. Picked up the last 11 Celestial Storms and then 2 Sun and Moon base set packs.

This week my first ever Japanese Base Set sealed pack is expected to arrive. On the fence, but I’ll probably keep it sealed.
Sweden here, mostly just waiting for a bunch of different cards to be delivered. Some PSA graded ones and some raw cards im either grading or stuffing in a binder.
I’m in Phoenix this week for vacation! I am thinking about cruising over to my favorite card shop later today. They have a nice WOTC selection!.

Starting to get Autumn vibes here in Scotland, finally the temperature has come back to normal and I don’t feel like I’m constantly suffocating anymore which is nice, how has your Summer been?
I have been working on a Pikachu promo collection, I’m really looking forward to sharing it here in a few months time when I’m done, other than that I bought a lot of the new Japanese SM-P Lugia promos, everyone seems to be really digging the art work so I thought it might be good to pick up a few.
It’s funny because I wanted to post a similar thread to wondering what’s up? lol
For me I’ve slowed down my buying, slightly, and only purchase the first edition base psa 9’s when they are for a good price considering the current market. I also have finally been able to see the difference between the PSA grades and can tell that some of my 9’s could have been a 10, on a good day, and some of them should probably be an 8, on a bad day. So now when I purchase any PSA graded cards I make sure to really look them over.
I purchased some shining legends booster boxes off of amazon, best price, and plan to open them soon for fun. I scan ebay daily for any good deals on what I’m looking for. So I get a couple graded cards per week. I noticed PSA 9 1st edition base holos at a new low and sniped a bunch for the low $300’s. They came in and were in phenomenal condition! I think they could almost be considered weak 10’s so I was very happy! Don’t get me wrong, they are 9’s, but in such great condition it’s nice to almost not notice a single flaw on the card versus many of my 9’s with obvious flaws that make them a 9.
Common/uncommon base 1st are seeing some super low prices. I grabbed a bunch in the teens, dollar amount, and some under $10 shipped! No joke. How are they going for so low? I feel like I’m taking crazy pills! smpratte quote. lol
Personally, very stressed applying for pediatric dental residency. I work 6 days a week and it can be grueling putting in 65+ hours a week working and volunteering an additional 8 hours. Nice to come home to another cool card though.
