I would hang that and display it till the day I die. I love anything made by them.
That’s an amazing piece.

So it’s not amazing but this is what I bought. I’m a very strict spender as I’m retired from the army. I’m a father and husband and living off my retirement is like trying to squeeze pennys from a copper tree.
Damn that’s pretty cool!
If you don’t mind me asking, what does something like this cost? Feel free to exercise the 5th.
My estimate is between $500-$20,000. When I have a range that wide I can’t help but ask
I like the gulpin sig, that’s one of my favorite modern artworks and artists
Got some more Nintendo Museum miniature keyrings which happens to have the last one I’m missing - SNES.
Which means I finally completed a set of all 13 miniature keyrings currently released!
(They’re going to be sitting in the Ziplocs until I find a good keyring display)
Now looking forward to Nintendo releasing one for Switch 2… And please don’t mix it with the existing ones in the same blind box
So there are a couple of variations of the Kiosk from Best Buy, Walmart, Target, and Gamestop all have their own unique features and such. The Kiosk that have the touch screen and are complete usually are in the 3K - 5k range depending on the variation. The translite box on the left for instance is a highly sought after and is usually destroyed by the Nintendo reps so they are like 800-1k just for that little box not including the translite artwork. Typically any piece you are buying such as the joy con holders or some internal electronics will cost ~$200-$300 so it is ideal when buying one to snag one that has the most pieces still installed.
Can i ask why? Is it specifically that you wanted a switch kiosk or just a game kiosk in general?
There are certain gaming items that bring back core memories. Back in my day I would go to Walmart and break my neck looking up at the tv screens playing the N64 kiosk. The Switch to me has so many great memories mainly because I got to enjoy the launch with my son as he was just the right age to get into gaming. Over the years he loved playing on the Switch kiosk when we would go to Gamestop so that is a big reason why I have always wanted one for the man cave. You should have seen his eyes when I brought it home…
Amazing! Thanks for answering.
No problem!

Been getting back into some 4X games the past while and picked these up:
Played Gal Civ 2 as a kid, but honestly never fully understood it that well. I have to say though even though it’s getting older now, it’s a lot of fun for my needs. I would say it’s pretty close to Civ 4 & 5, but a bit more complex and with more customization options (the ship building & exploration is pretty solid). Also, I was surprised that it’s still being patched, with an HD resolution update that just came out May 7 2025.
#4 is similar in foundation, but also very different and with more depth. Feels sort of early access I guess? What I mean is, the gameplay loop feels a bit overdone at times. It doesn’t have great reviews on Steam (75% positive), but it’s come along way since 2023 it seems and it’s getting better all the time. I’m enjoying it more than 3, but not as much as #2 yet. Worth it on sale, not full price I would say, at least not yet. Anyway, would recommend this series to 4X & Civ fans (especially if you enjoy Civ 4 & 5).
A bunch if mlp comics I found from a Mercari JP lot plus some Japanese exclusive omnibus covers that I didn’t know existed until I looked them up.
Also bought two booster boxes from the Chinese exclusive trading card series for MLP. Here are the pulls.
Two more No Name No Imprint Yu-Gi-Oh rarities for the collection: an Ultimate Rare v7 and Premium Gold Rare:
I also bought this Double print Premium Gold Rare a while ago, figured I’d share it as well:
Greetz,
Quuador
I don’t really collect Digimon, and don’t own a single vintage card from the tcg…but Wargreymon rocked too hard to not buy this!
Got in Volume 1 of the wataoshi Claire POV LN, and with that I now have the full SSCC set… still need to hunt down the volumes for the main story Also got volume 3 of Basara! Missing volume 2 so I can’t continue reading but volume 1 was so good and I’m eager to continue the hunt and read. This is a 27 volume series and only has one printing (like most other 2000s shojo beat works) so it will be a long hunt.
I also was very lucky and found these 2 Field Advisory News magazines. These are not archived anywhere and seeing as they’re so old and difficult to find (as a point of reference, I was looking for any FAN magazines for the last 2 years and didn’t find any until these 2 popped up at the same time) and are also from a very niche part of the dog world. I’m just very happy to be able to add these to the sighthound collection. I will most likely scan them in and reach out to the American Sighthound Field Association if they would like to have the scans to post on their website alongside Communiqué, FAN’s online-only successor.
