PokƩmon sword and shield design with PokƩmon red plot and increased complexity.

I cannot understand why and how they did not remake PokƩmon Snap! yet.

My dream pokemon game would probably be one where you can explore all of the regions. Maybe you could chose your region of origin and become it’s champion as usual and then travel across the world to get all of the badges and fight the best trainers in each region, and become the world champion or something like that. Basically hgss but way bigger.

"A vast (BotW) and ever changing (AC: New Horizons) world that that shows signs of time (Metroid Prime) where trainers can interact (MMO) in new (PGo) and exciting ways."
Connected Regions
Changing Seasons/Environments
Real World Time Based Events
Programmed Difficulty Levels
COMPELLING STORY (Team Yell? WTF!!)

That sounds like the dream…

Unlike banana and mayo sandwhiches

I’ve tried getting into ROM hacking so I could make the Pokemon game of my dreams. But it is hard and I didn’t really know where to start.

It would have a difficulty slider so you can change how hard it would be, and also have all of the Pokemon, but before you start the game you can check and uncheck which Pokemon you want to exist in your game. (Cause I only like gens 1-2)

@binx345 @thecharizardauthorty I bet they know the glory of a banana & mayo sandwich. Gotta be Duke’s Mayo or no-go.

A single player experience like BOTW in terms of scale and depth where you start at kanto and work through all the lands all the way to the galar region.

I mean silver and gold managed jhoto and kanto so surely we could push for atleast hoenn and sinnoh aswell!

I do like the idea of an MMO style but its normally hard to have an immersive experience when you’re waiting In the pokemon center with fellow trainers fathead69 and pokeboy420

I dont eat Mayonnaise, Mustard, Ketchup, anything pickled, any salad dressing - or salad at all really.

I like my bread and like my banana but not really together. Hard to beat $1 for a entire loaf a bread and $.50 a lb fruit.

Although I never ate PBJ either, just didnt like putting em together. Peanut Butter sandwhich or Jelly toast… bring it.

Here is my boomer answer:

  1. Remastered version of Pokemon Snap. Add an additional level or 2 and expand some maps. This would be perfect for VR.

  2. Pokemon Yellow for iOS and Android.

  3. A 2D platformer - Something like Rayman. Lots of characters/Pokemon to unlock.

Pokemon Snap! So we can have a photo contest and new trading cards. Open to US submissions.

Cards could even be made using the VR photo feature on PokemonGO. Might be cool? Given the photos were taken creatively enough.

Another game similar to ultra sun and moon. Ultra Wormhole. Almost every legendary. Sos chaining for shinys. Something similar but different with more Pokemon obviously. Also add some more ultra beasts. They were somewhat underrated. Also more Pokemon pinball would be amazing! Also having a option for 2-4 files per game so you can have extra files to share with a sibling or girlfriend. Or for ourselves once we finally get bored with our original file but don’t want to lose all the progress

The Scope of skyrim/witcher 3 the exploration of BOTW, changing time and weather all have a bearing on what pokemon are in world Gyms being open only a certain times ( Makes zero sense to me why I am go to a gym at 3 in the morning they are all their just waiting) all trainers have 6 Pokemon makes zero sense why they do not. Every pokemon battle you get to pick if you battle or not and if its 1 or 2 pokemon battle give us choice. All pokemon their but make it a challenge only some come out at night when it raining you can not catch fire pokekmon because its raining and they are all hiding. all of this will make the every play through different. Once completed unlocks hardmode or something similar. I would love all the old games in one massive game but i think thats more because we as gamers want more now a days and their would be no need for that to happen if we had a new pokemon game that is devolved like i just said.

If you look at the first DS games to the last the change is massive in graphics so i suspect the same to happen on the switch.

As absolutely not a fan of Zelda, I really cannot get behind the idea of a Zelda inspired open field PokƩmon game.

Nintendo will never make a game where all regions can be visited, and all gyms can be battled. Because this will terminate their ā€œmake 1 new Pokemon game every 4 years with an easier and easier play curve to introduce new monsters, area and sell more mercā€ strategy.

Would be lovely if they did, but it won’t ever happen. Also, I doubt their game devices are powerful enough to do that. I mean, the Switch isn’t a powerhouse, the Gamecube wasn’t either. They already struggled with getting all PokĆ©mon into SS. Introducing all PokĆ©mon, with all forms, all regions, all Gym Leaders and all trainers with all their AI into one game, including top notch graphic animations. Doubt they can make a game device that can handle that.

Would love to see a game that besides offering you the option be a Boy or a Girl, also would give you the option ā€œwhere are you bornā€ with the options like Pallet Town, New Bark Town, Littleroot Town and you can explore from there. With a bunch of side quests to unlock another area. But for that, Nintendo has to become a totally different game developer.

We can dream boys, but these dreams won’t come true.

I made a thread not too long ago about a discussion I had with friends about a possible new game/series. One that focuses on lost Pokemon/Pokeballs and finding a Legendary Pokemon that is only Legendary because it is the last of its kind: www.elitefourum.com/t/last-pokemon-of-its-kind-a-pokemon-spin-off-game-series/25852/1

Granted, if they want to remake a 3D Pokemon Crystal. I’m happy with @gengarbrigade 's suggestion.
