What cards are you collecting now from newer sets?

What are some of the cards lately you are collecting specifically whether it be for a personal collection or an investment? I am collecting mostly full arts and shinning legends cards for my personal collection.

I think those sound like fun cards to collect! Full Art cards are suuuuper collectable. Especially Black and White era Full Arts which are quickly disappearing from the secondary market but have a lot of great artwork.

I put a set of the Shinings from Shining Legends in my own collection. Not intended for investment purposes. I just want to be involved in the things Pokemon is doing right so I can voice my opinion (see: put money to it) for future sets.

One of each!

I enjoy collecting master sets. Though I’m not opening as much modern product lately I’ll work on completing the new sets as time goes on.

I’m always in the market for a good deal on Gold Stars and Base cards so I pick some up from time to time.

Oh and oddball cards like miscuts and misprints. Those I enjoy immensely!

Mainly–or almost only!–Japanese, first edition, Mitsuhiro fullarts. (The Mewtwo on Cinnabar is my favorite.) I also love the Karen fullart!

From the current sets I’m collecting secret rares, rainbow rares, and full arts. I will soon start collecting shinning cards. I collect for myself.

I only just started collecting again, and I’m working on a full set of Shining Legends. I really like the look of the set.

Not exactly “new” (maybe a bit from my perspective), but I’ve collected a couple sets each of Team Rocket Returns and FR&LG

I’ve not been purchasing a lot, but I bought the full art birds from Generations and I’m going to buy some shinings from the shining legends set and secret rare mewtwo.
I do kinda like the trainer full arts, but I rather save some money and buy older cards.

I’m collecting Shining Legends as well. I love the cards, I don’t really care if it’s a bad investment but IMO these cards might appreciate a bit in 5 years or so. More than most of the newer sets anyhow.

Im really liking the full art trainers of sun and moon. I also like the pokemon center exclusives from Japan. :grin:
