Wow, this Crobat is older than some people on here. Assuming you caught it when you were a kid
Yeah circa 2004
Dang! Your Crobat can go out to the bars
I wasn’t always careful about moving mons from fire red up and replayed it several times, this is among the oldest mons in “real” time, but all pre gen 6 mons have the date met as the date you moved them up sadly so it says 2011
Wait, the second? What was the first?
If you do show the results in the art thread!
Bruh
You’re not the only person on the forum who is under 21. This wasn’t a callout
By the way, love the thread idea. This will be fun to check everyday
I didn’t mean it like that lol.
Took me a while to come up with a idea for a thread.
I had the same with the Mewtwo GS. Recently saw that card in person when I was middlemanning it for someone, and the dark purple background really pops on that card.
As for a card I (re)appreciate today (or yesterday, to be more precise): the Pikachu from the July 18th, 2011 Teach/Tryout Set:
I yesterday posted a comment regarding a new discovery for one of the other Teach/Tryout Sets, and every time I see this happy Pikachu artwork, it makes me smile. ![]()

OG artworks are my favorite
Great thread topic, here’s my submission:
I love Kusube’s art style. Girafarig is one of my favorite Pokemon from Generation 2. I’m hoping to pick up a reverse holo copy of the card soon.
Great thread. Got some non-holo cards for my binders in today and really enjoy this Duskull (in general almost all Harada cards from the early ex era are incredible):
I feel I’ll need a Venusaur and is a toss up between this and Dark Venusaur. I’ll probably pick up one of these in an 8
People seem to either love or hate the art, but idc this is the most metal steelix (no pun) I’ve ever seen
My fav depiction of Steelix. The black/white and red color scheme reminds me a lot of Persona 5. People seem to love that game’s art style but this card was doing it over a decade prior.
