Holiday Calendar day 18!. Really nice one

It would be a lot of fun to build this card as a real life size paper theater for a foto opp where you can stand in between the layers. Everything covered in glitter for the holographic effect, including a cap and an apron.

Cards with benches often go hard. This is no exception.

Probably my favorite pick up this entire year. Not really an expensive card but one that I wanted to get for quite some time and I was really happy when I found it a couple of weeks ago.

I have that card in English. Stumbled on it on Mercari and it is one of my favorite Milotic cards. Just gorgeous.

20 years ago I pulled my very first promo card, this Treecko, from this deck tin. The deck tin is the same one that I got 20 years ago but the Treecko is a replacement - I no longer have my original copy of the card.

The tin is from a set of four EX Deck Tins. Each tin was decorated with artwork from Japanese booster packs and came with one of four promo cards (the three Hoenn starters + Whismur), 2 booster packs, and a sticker sheet. Its too bad that a second wave of these tins wasn’t released, I would’ve loved to see more of the Japanese pack artwork get used ouside of Japan.

Nakamura Ippan is building an excellent binder page, they’re also one of the few new artists with more commissioned full arts than half arts.

yes ! i believe this kind of artist allows for an emergent type of collecting : they make illustrations that in isolation aren’t so entizing but once connected together on a binder page makes for a very cohesive and enjoyable display.

I could see Arai Kiriko’s art going this way too!
