Non-holo Expedition Dragonite. I’ve never experienced so little disappointment over pulling a non-holo.
This art got me excited enough to buy my first and only booster box (JPN SM10b Sky Legend).

This artwork was always so cool to me. Partly because it’s Blaine’s Charizard, not just my own. Like I felt I was borrowing a friends Charizard in the same way that Ashley lent Misty his Pikachu that one episode.
I also took a similar photo like this in Pokemon Snap. My favorite artwork in the set. And the rest of the set has incredible artwork!

The Scream cards are what got me back into collecting Pokémon for reals. I’m still blown away. Buying those cards was like a fever dream 
E-reader sets were after my time. But discovering this card (and the absolutely flawless holo treatment) was like, “ok I like the e-reader cards”
Ooyama’s Pikachu was like “oh hey there vending” quickly followed by “omg vending”

Out of the newer cards tag team gx have had really wicked art, pity that V and VMax haven’t been at that level after them :E

These 2 jungle cards get me going every time I see them. The colors are just eye-grabbing and I seem to always pull them out of bulk when I see them and keep them on my desk for a while.

This card was in a binder collection I bought during the summer and I thought it was hilarious, “who would care enough to tape up this garbage card”. Soon after, I threw it into a giant pile of old Japanese played bulk that I couldn’t care less about. The thought of the card kept worming it’s way into my head and I finally dug around and rescued this poor card. I’ve probably seen hundreds of jungle seaking in my lifetime but I never actually appreciated the art until now.
Some little kid must have really cared for this card and somewhere along the way I must have lost the ability to recognize the love that wore down all of these heavily played pokemon cards.
