Hmm, I think this opinion is more common than you think!
Personally, I don’t mind the yellow corners. If anything, it adds a specific “marker” of that era before alt arts really took off.

I think a significant proportion of the attention Boonbreon receives has more to do with price tracking than art appreciation. It’s also probably the biggest outlier in this regard
I already see people trying to buy this magikarp. It will probably end up in the top 5% of most appreciated cards ever produced

This is why social media has ruined the hobby (to a degree). Saying this set has 50+ secret rares (despite trainer gallery cards being above the last set number and above like as far back as cosmic eclipse).
The sets not out for another few weeks yet coming out with clickbait shit like this to make it seem Pokemon have completely changed their pull rates.
