What’s wrong PSA 1 collectors?
They worship PSA 1 cards and pay premium for them and love to state “pop 1” all the time but guess what, every card in existance has the potential to be a PSA 1 card. When they proudly try to hype their crap stating “pop 1” I just say wait till I bend mine in half, pop 2.
lmao
Anyone who uses “low pop” already brings up red flags.
From a purely aesthetic perspective I prefer some of the the reprinted Japanese 25th Anniversary cards over the originals. I love how the stamp looks and the holo pattern makes the artwork pop. I recently bought the reprint Dark Gyarados over the original despite their prices being comparable. I’ve never cared much about reprints and would usually stick to the original if I can afford it so I was surprised to genuinely desire some of these for my collection.
Eevee peaked in 2003, no need for any new cards or evolutions after that. Glaceon leafeon and sylveon can go
No comparison. So many memories with the first 5 Eeveelutions
I’ve started to appreciate Leafeon and Glaceon more recently since they’ve had some great cards. Still don’t own any Sylveon cards and I’m an Eeveelutions collector
L eevee opinion
Atsuko Nishida would like a word with you:
Wow, now this is an unpopular one!
You really think that CGI artwork of Jolteon is best?
And Flareon too?
Aquapolis Espeon compared to Espeon EX or the Japanese-exclusive holo Espeon from Magma vs. Aqua? Not a chance.
Don’t get me wrong, I love the Aquapolis and Skyridge Eeveelutions. They’re some of my favorites ever printed. For Umbreon (Aquapolis and Skyridge) and Vaporeon (Skyridge), they are some of the best artworks we have.
But definitely not for Jolteon, Flareon, and Espeon!
I made sure to just say 2003 to include ss jolteon over skyridge. but im sure there is room in the dumpster for the rest
Who hurt you?
@wisewailmer out for blood today
Skyridge Jolteon
My wailord father was bullet seeded by a rouge leafeon
Tortured with ingrain and leech seed as a child? I get that.
I was not prepared to read all the reactions to this post as I scrolled up to finally get to the catalyst for those responses. Sir I dare say you have blasphemed in the worst way. May God save you.
I’ve got a good one, it seems:
Focusing on condition for your collection is far too stressful. Screw condition. (to a degree)
I still wake up in a cold sweat some nights thinking about this brutal own. I’m taking more supplements for my memory so I remember all the good EX cards, though.
Don’t know if this is unpopular since I’ve seen it expressed elsewhere. I’m just surprised to think it myself. The yellow corners on Tag Team cards (English and Japanese have the same card design) hurts them aesthetically. I think it makes them look cheap. Before Alt Arts became so big I didn’t notice it because the Tag Team concept felt more unique. I’m still happy to have my favorite Tag Team’s in my collection and love the relative simplicity of two Pokemon per card vs. some of the modern Alt Arts. It’s just interesting to me how the appeal of some cards can fade so easily once newer ones comes out.
