My goal was to not buy anything and to grade cards. Haven’t bought anything and Burger King is coming to Germany next year. On my grind.

The first 3/4 of the years I did this; but right now I’m a bit behind on both my FA Supporter/CHR rares and Seviper cards. My English Pikachu collection is still up-to-date and complete, though.
Added quite a lot of non-TCG this year actually, especially in the first halve year. 
Unfortunately, haven’t found any of the three missing Metal Collection Seviper colors yet, though. 
Very surprisingly, I did add one of the four missing Pikachu cards that I had only come across twice prior in the past ten years. I’m still very happy I finally added the German Surf-Pikachu to my collection. 
This purchase, and those pesky S. Chinese Pikachu SR exclusives, are also the reason why I haven’t been able to keep up with the FA Supporter/CHR and Seviper cards. None of them are hard to find though, so I’ll buy them as soon as I can afford them again and have some saving money for emergencies back on my savings bank account again.
Yeah.. About this. Didn’t happen at all. When I posted this I had just watched a lot of videos and reviews and bought a new speed cube, but after I set it up and used the Beginner’s Method that I already know to solve it a couple of times, my motivation tumbled, and I haven’t even touched this new speedcube in the past halve year (it’s still on my desk though, and for fun I just solved it once 
). But yeah, I’m not gonna learn all the speedcubing algorithms anytime soon after all. Unfortunately, which I should have known by now already, I already lack time for most of my hobbies to begin with, so no point in (re)adding another which defintely will take a lot of time and practice.

I don’t think I wrote in this thread earlier, but my goal was to get over 75% completion for the global Torchic master set by the end of the year. Thanks to a lot of new friends made here and through discord, I’m proud to say that I’m at 98.3%. Thanks, E4!

I abandoned my Festa and Masaki goals, but did recently achieve my Pal City set in a PSA 9 that many of you may have seen.

I still have faith that I will one day own 2016 festa, and then they will be complete (in psa 9) (not counting mewtwo) (also not counting event organizer stamp)

Definitely failed this set goal - only 30% complete. The 2025 boom really hindered me.
Also failed this set goal. The ex cards from EX Team Rocket Returns went to the moon this year.
It’s not all bad news, though. Thanks to the boom, I was lucky enough to fund several large (private) collection goals.
Overall, I felt rather controlled by the market this year, both as a buyer and as a seller. Supply and demand pushed me away from certain goals and towards others, which ultimately forced me to spend wisely. And although I am proud of what I was able to achieve through it all, I feel pretty tired.

I did this one. The No-Buy October was used wisely in pursuit of this goal.
This was also achieved. I will make an update post eventually.
I failed and very miserably at this one. I will roll this one for 2026. I am struggling with it because I feel like most of the article ideas that I have, which usually revolve around Japanese promos, might as well be just a post on a thread and not an article by itself. Maybe I can focus on coming up with better ideas in general.
i believe I was also successful with this and I hope to keep continuing this as much as I can. So this will also be a goal for 2026.

Got into it with the TCG with pocket in october 2024. Started collecting psa10 slabs. Initially with no other goals than just getting the cards I like…the numbers crept up until 1000 slabs and an idea struck me : my collection will be a one thousand psa10 collection and everytime i want to get one more card i will have to curate another so the number stays at 1000.
So my 2026 goal is to curate my collection to get down to 1000. It’s more interesting to have things to arbitrage and letting somes go, than just hoarding everything .Binders singles are unlimited though.

I dont earn big buck just a modest therapist so I am happy with what I managed to achieve so far
My big goals were to get
psa 7 shadowless charizard- completed
psa 8 4th print 1999-2000 base charizard- completed
psa 8 4th print blastoise- in the process!
PSA 9 4th print venusaur - going to have to be 2026 goal now!

I’m a little frustrated that I’m not finished SM or SWSH yet but I didn’t realize how much progress I made with my unrealistic goals. I’m overall very, VERY happy.
