I guess I should start off with a small 2024 recap.
Some goals were completed, other goals are a continuation of last years unfinished business, and some are new.
I plugged all the holes in my base-gym chal binder, and completed the first 3 neo sets. 
As far as Neo Destiny goes, I’m missing 3 Shinings due to 1 lost in post 
Just Tyranitar, Raichu and Zard to go. Aiming to finish this by march as the zard is a big purchase for me, I’d want maybe a psa 8 or 7.
I’m also missing 10 black star promos, including the dreaded Lucky Stadium and Pokémon Center.
Due to my desire to collect the insert cards, these will cost a very pretty penny, not far different from the Shining Charizard.
Fortunately, most of the rest aren’t too pricy.
I’m also missing a couple of W stamps, 1 pre-release and handful of other cards, and I can consider that binder finished.
With any luck, a few more months and I’ll be done, all going well!
From 2024 for 2025, I’ve got an ongoing binder project which I’ve decided to split into multiple binders
The aim is to represent the different regions the games are set in, and hopefully there will be exciting news for Gen X in 2025.
I’ve made quite a bit of progress on this, but as you can imagine it’s always evolving and new sets are always adding cards I need.
I want to at least finish 1 of these binders off these years, probably the first one. If I manage it, I’ll definitely post a video.
Out of the upcoming sets, I’ve got some Prismatic Evolutions preordered, but won’t be looking to master set - however, January brings Battle Partners and a few months later The Glory of Team Rocket.
Depending on reveals, I might be master setting the latter and have picked up a binder just for it.
I think the colour scheme is perfect! Black with red velvet lining and a red strap.
I’m chipping away at my JP Vintage binder.
I don’t expect to complete this fully in 2025, but I do aim to at least complete Vending, Neo JP exclusives and make substantial progress on VS.
Maybe I’ll treat myself to a few Masaki cards to fill slots in. 
A big one I’m going to start is English E-series. This one, no way Jose, to this getting done this year.
However, I’ll start with a few favourites and probably pick up at least full non holo sets.
I’ve got a binder, I’ve planned it all out, and as a saving grace I don’t like the reverses at all so will be skipping them.
To summarise my rambling:
- Finish off my black binder which includes all 4 Neo sets, Black Star promos, Pre-Release and W stamp.
- Finish off - for now - at least one of my other 3 binder projects. They’ve been a ton of fun and most cards are cheap so I can dent this quite often.
- The Glory of Team Rocket! Unless TPC disappoints, let’s hope not.
- Start E-Series! A beautiful era for the cards and unfortunately for my wallet an expensive one. Here we go.
Bonus 5) Keep up with the reveals, and the list may grow as we enter year 3, normally a very strong year for card eras. I want to get more graded modern.
I’ve got other goals outside of pokémon, criminal as it is, so I’ll probably be more mindful of my spending this year - fortunately got a lot of bigger purchases this year, and will be in JP so I can hunt some of these bits then.
