This year I am hoping make a dent on my quest for all of the unlimited Neo-era holos (including Shinings) in PSA 9. So far I have just 6 total so I have a ways to go lol
I also want to do the same with Japanese Legend era Primes (holos and reverse holos).

My main card collection is essentially complete, so I’ll probably be figuring out the best way to display them. I do plan to try and get all the legit poncho eevee plushies as well.

My goals for next year are unlikely to be much different from the current ones.
I think it’s quite realistic that I’ll hit the 85% milestone for my porygon collection (JP/CH) in 2025. I don’t think this year will bring me the opportunity on getting UED L3 cards or Fan Club promo.
As for other goals, I’m going to collect some JP bulk and misc promos in the breaks.

I would love to finish my 2023 goals in 2025.
Below are the previous year’s goals and I am quite happy with my current collection.
For 2025,
- I do need to finish up with my start deck 100 master set. I have not gotten a single new card this year or last year in that regards.
- I will finish my Komiya master set up to the current date and make strong progress on my Japanese only Komiya set.
- I would like to travel to another regionals event, other than Toronto, with a chance of a signing. Along with this, I would like to own a couple more signatures in general. I did not make it to world’s in Hawaii due to health issues but maybe there is a chance for Anaheim?
- Maybe participate in irl league nights again (I used to judge back in 2017)
- Enjoy collecting as I did in 2024. Don’t stress over cards and no FOMO
- Another grail?

My goals for 2025 are:
- Complete my Mimic collection (priority is Voltorb and Electrode)
- Complete my Komiya illustration collection
- Find a RH Polish Magneton
That’s really all I have! Aside from one troublesome Thai card, I’m actually very close to completing my mimic collection right now. My biggest worry is that there will be new Professor Program Voltorb variants to get

I guess I should start off with a small 2024 recap.
Some goals were completed, other goals are a continuation of last years unfinished business, and some are new.
I plugged all the holes in my base-gym chal binder, and completed the first 3 neo sets. 
As far as Neo Destiny goes, I’m missing 3 Shinings due to 1 lost in post 
Just Tyranitar, Raichu and Zard to go. Aiming to finish this by march as the zard is a big purchase for me, I’d want maybe a psa 8 or 7.
I’m also missing 10 black star promos, including the dreaded Lucky Stadium and Pokémon Center.
Due to my desire to collect the insert cards, these will cost a very pretty penny, not far different from the Shining Charizard.
Fortunately, most of the rest aren’t too pricy.
I’m also missing a couple of W stamps, 1 pre-release and handful of other cards, and I can consider that binder finished.
With any luck, a few more months and I’ll be done, all going well!
From 2024 for 2025, I’ve got an ongoing binder project which I’ve decided to split into multiple binders
The aim is to represent the different regions the games are set in, and hopefully there will be exciting news for Gen X in 2025.
I’ve made quite a bit of progress on this, but as you can imagine it’s always evolving and new sets are always adding cards I need.
I want to at least finish 1 of these binders off these years, probably the first one. If I manage it, I’ll definitely post a video.
Out of the upcoming sets, I’ve got some Prismatic Evolutions preordered, but won’t be looking to master set - however, January brings Battle Partners and a few months later The Glory of Team Rocket.
Depending on reveals, I might be master setting the latter and have picked up a binder just for it.
I think the colour scheme is perfect! Black with red velvet lining and a red strap.
I’m chipping away at my JP Vintage binder.
I don’t expect to complete this fully in 2025, but I do aim to at least complete Vending, Neo JP exclusives and make substantial progress on VS.
Maybe I’ll treat myself to a few Masaki cards to fill slots in. 
A big one I’m going to start is English E-series. This one, no way Jose, to this getting done this year.
However, I’ll start with a few favourites and probably pick up at least full non holo sets.
I’ve got a binder, I’ve planned it all out, and as a saving grace I don’t like the reverses at all so will be skipping them.
To summarise my rambling:
- Finish off my black binder which includes all 4 Neo sets, Black Star promos, Pre-Release and W stamp.
- Finish off - for now - at least one of my other 3 binder projects. They’ve been a ton of fun and most cards are cheap so I can dent this quite often.
- The Glory of Team Rocket! Unless TPC disappoints, let’s hope not.
- Start E-Series! A beautiful era for the cards and unfortunately for my wallet an expensive one. Here we go.
Bonus 5) Keep up with the reveals, and the list may grow as we enter year 3, normally a very strong year for card eras. I want to get more graded modern.
I’ve got other goals outside of pokémon, criminal as it is, so I’ll probably be more mindful of my spending this year - fortunately got a lot of bigger purchases this year, and will be in JP so I can hunt some of these bits then.

For 2025 I have 3 Goals.
- 35% completion Mew PSA 10 (especially focusing on older low pop cards)
- 50% completion 1st edition base set PSA 10
- Get at least 10 Japanese/ English booster boxes of my favorite new modern sets when they first come out at MSRP (like terastal festival)

Generally speaking looking forward to spend more money in Pokemon, this had year had a bit too many irl issues and trips which demanded my attention over hobbies.
Upcoming Team Rocket sets are certainly something I want to collect since current WTB list is totally blank, PSA wants still include cards like PSA 10 1st ed. T17 but realistically it’s so hard to complete those goals anymore.

I´m hoping to complete the Scarlet & Violet sealed. I already completed the Sword & Shield and am close to completing the Sun & Moon, although this is less of a priority since some of the earlier sets in this block are higher in price than I am comfortable paying.
