This is what greed does folks, I have no doubt that several of the people involved knew in the back of their heads that there was something suspicious going on. Itās their undoing in the end.

I absolutely hate the idea of buy backs, it happens SO MUCH in a lot of the Facebook groups.
Some people doing raffles for a 5k+ item and then set a buy back at 3k (so they can perpetually use their item as a cash cow).
Iāve spoken a lot to the admins of those groups about it (as raffles at least in the EU/UK are technically illegal) - they donāt seem to care that much.
If you choose to āsellā an item in that way, then make sure you actually sell the item.

Cardkahuna limited his comments on instagram yesterday & today, all comments referring to the fake case have been removed.
He hasnāt posted anything on that account since September. I thought that account was abandoned, but apparently he still uses it.

OMG! Will they be selling all those G.I. Joe booster packs? How rare are G.I. Joe booster packs and are they 1st edition?
They would go really well with my Desert Storm collection. I NEED THESE!! 
Iām usually someone who likes to make fun of situations like this, but all I feel after the whole thing is just sadness. Not for Logan or anyone else, but just for the hobby in general. I came back to collecting a decade ago and while the hobby has never been perfect, Iām sad to see where it is today. Itās not about the cards anymore. Itās about clickbaity titles, laundering crypto, outrageous grading fees, shady characters, āexpertsā authenticating fake merch, scamming everywhere.
A lot of us benefited monetarily from Logan Paul entering the hobby, but Iāve come to think that trade wasnāt worth it.

But the problems were the initial scammer and clowns in the middle of this deal, who were all around before logan.

I like the Desert Storm set. I have one as well as a case of those:)
Plus, Logans sending a signed GI Joe pack to Akara (my daughter whoās on the spectrum).

It does not have to be so dramatic, theres no reason to grade while fees are high except flipping and they will come down again, you dont need to force crypto or F&F many legit buyers exist who will pay taxes, scammers can be avoided pretty easily with very limited knowledge and common sense, and youtube has become garbage long before pokemon took off again and there are many old videos from the early you tube days of poeple opening boxes or whatever without they hype, there are also tons of mint raw cards still out there I have been finding more deals lately than ever before

Excellent. I have about 4 full sets of Series 1 Victory Series. I didnāt keep any of them sealed. 
But at least I get to see the cards in the binder.

You can always fool yourself into seeing a decline if you compare bleeding headlines of the present with rose tinted images of the past
He ends up Raffling the same item 20 times before someone ends up taking the item over the cash. I dont know about you but the image of Pokejew preying on me is a little unsettling
