Sounded like a happy “YES”. Again I am putting my guess in as real. Will be interested to see how people follow up who so badly want it to be fake lol.
Most of us don’t badly want it to be fake. The evidence simply points in that direction when one considers all the problems and inconsistencies surrounding both the case and the individuals involved.
An initial reaction of “YES” says very little. What it tells me is there are probably 6 boxes within the case that at first glance appear to be first edition base set. That’s all they could have possibly seen two seconds after opening the case. It says nothing about the contents inside those boxes.
it sounded like an edited together YES and NO shouted at the same time in order to generate hype. It definitely wasn’t concretely a yes lol. Either way, tomorrow we find out
Open one case and weigh all the packs to make sure there are roughly 12 Heavy ones.
Then open one random light pack
If its real, that will be enough for most reasonable people.
I feel like a lot of the haters want it to be fake just to spite the guy.
Given all the evidence, the case likely (certainly?) is fake, but I still have a glimmer of hope that it’s real. Being able to see a case of 1st Ed boosters cracked live would be something else.
I mean of course it is going to be first Ed boxes in there…let’s hope they actually a open a bottom one though to see if it’s real and not resealed trash.
Here’s a thought I haven’t seen here… lots of posts though:
With the body of incongruities around this case, if it IS real, it creates another variant that makes it even harder to tell whether any future ones are legit… Wouldn’t that be a bad thing (Not to say the whole thing is bad, but just that particular point - that there’s a variant of the base set 1st case?)
