Nice artwork. This will boost the sales of 4-pocket binders like crazy 
But since I didn’t collect Legend cards, I don’t think I will collect these either. I like my artworks contained in one card.

Lol the actual mechanics of playing this are gonna be so weird 
you can only play them from your discard pile.
Also imagine taking like 2 minutes to turn your cards to the sleep position just to turn them back a minute later lol.

I’m not too thrilled at the idea of having a bunch of union pieces potentially being added to the pool of ultra rares in future sets. Opening product and having half your pulls be body parts just isn’t exciting. Also not a fan of how much of each card is just border.
From a gameplay perspective, looks like an interesting and much needed break from tag teams. At the very least it’ll be amusing to see how PTCGO’s spaghetti code handles this and to watch people with these behemoths clogging up their board once irl play returns.

I’d love to see Kyogre, Groudon, and Rayquaza V-unions but they belong to my favorite legendary trio. Perhaps we will get a Charizard V-union.

Hmmm. I like this from an artwork standpoint, since Like the Legend cards, we have more real-estate, BUT I displaying these is always a tricky thing. I wonder if 2 is a better number for this kind of thing. 4 seems… a bit too much. As for collecting… IDK. I don’t think I’ll be collecting these. The mewtwo art is sick tho!
It’ll be like MTG, take all 4 and tap 'em together. It’ll get messy though, since they’re not in a column.
Lol. That thought is pretty freakin’ funny. Also a really good point. These will suck to pull until you get that last one you needed. like @piplupsicle , said, if these take up ultra rare slots, it’s gonna nerf the excitement for that rarity…

Those are 12 cards from a 13 card set… what’s the 13th card going to be?
I liked the Legends cards, and I think these are pretty cool too.
Edit: 13th card in the set is Professor Burnett, the V unions will be released in decks in Japan, all with Burnett as a promo too.

I’m not a fan personally. The borders are way too thick and they too closely resemble jumbo cards.
I think this would have worked a lot better if the cards had interesting artwork alone and could join on to other cards to extend that artwork in some way like the backs of some of the Japanese Adventure Cards:
This new V-Union release is just here’s Mewtwo’s right leg and this one’s Croagunk’s left foot which to me isn’t very exciting.

I will probably just buy the mewtwo deck and display it in original packaging.

It’s not doing much for me as a collector in all honesty as it feels a little gimmicky, BUT it does give me those Exodia the Forbidden One vibes from back in the day (and I didn’t even collect Yu Gi Oh).
I’m personally not really a fan of cards like this. They certainly look cool, and I like the artworks of the Legend cards as well. But let’s say you only got a single card like this… Would be pretty stupid tbh:

I’d say for these it depends on distribution. If they’re only given in deck boxes and such then you’ll always have a complete set unless you lose a card. If these cards are shoved into normal packs as singles then I agree it would be pretty stupid.
