150k was the price for Garys card to Logan. The card had peak sales around 400k. I think marshmallow bought one in that range.

I don’t know too much about the very high end of Pokemon, but I didn’t see Maxmoefoe’s Snap Gyarados on the list if we wanted to include it—allegedly $50,000.

I don’t know anything about these cards, why are they so expensive?

How to obtain it:
You can only obtain these cards in special packs given out during special Japanese Expanded (Extra Battle Day) tournaments until the end of November 2019.
To make it even more difficult to obtain these in Japan, participation for these events is limited to one per person per month. Also to add another level of difficulty, you must win a lottery beforehand to get to participate in these events.

@Dyl links already explained it in general, but it’s mostly the waifu tax in combination with its limited availability tbh, because all three EBD cards are equally as rare and equally distributed, yet their values are roughly:
- Lillie: 100-150k USD
- Acerola: 40-55k USD
- Guzma: 5-7.5k USD
Guzma is so undervalued compared to Lillie, lol…

True! That’s indeed a lot more accurate.
Either way, it’s weird these waifu taxes cause this much difference in equally as rare cards from the same release.
Then again, I guess huge differences in similarly released cards applies to a 1st edition Base Set Charizard vs a 1st edition Base Set Poliwrath as well. 
Supply and mostly DEMAND at its finest, I guess.

I thought so too until I checked out the Sports auctions on PWCC, Goldin, Heritage, etc. Those prices are actually insane.
