The JoshB Age 31 Fine Art Thread
In light of the remarkably unforeseen and disappointing outcome of my endeavors in the 2023 E4 Art Competition, a circumstance I can only assume is attributable to a simple lack of artistic acumen on part of the voters, I have decided to curate a personal gallery in order to showcase the artistic brilliance of JoshB, Age 31, and my objectively inspiring works.

Artist Notes
My works originated in the 2020 Secret Santa Event, wherein my Magnum Opus, as alternately depicted in my profile picture, was showcased after having been sent to my gift recipient. My art focuses predominantly on recreations of existing pieces, however from time to time and when creativity flares, I may treat visitors to an original piece. My fine and delicate use of pencil is a nod to the talents of colleagues such as Lowry, Picasso and Degas, and certainly not a choice born out of sheer laziness. What at first appear to be amateurish drawing mistakes are not obvious signs of incompetence, but instead a deliberate statement made to reflect the imperfect nature of the human condition…except with Pokémon.
It was the fantastic talent and sense of community & humour showcased by everyone in the 2023 Art Thread that inspired me to make this thread. Please don’t ban me.
