PSA Return #5
Not a huge fan of BGS slabs, so I cracked my 9.5 and submitted it to PSA. There is a bit more surface scratching than I had remembered, especially for a 9.5 surface subgrade. I don’t think that the card was damaged by PSA, so it must have been obscured by the inner sleeve that BGS uses.
Either way, I am happy to have it in a PSA case to match my other copies.

Just curious, did the pop report update for those 2 years ago (or whenever it was graded) or does it only update once the cards are out the door of PSA?
Since all of these cards were in limbo for years.

No idea LOL. I did try to estimate when one of my subs was done grading based on pop reports but tbh since it was through ludkins and all that mess I doubt there was ever really a chance to read to much into pop changes

Topps clear cards are so fun in PSA cases. I just got one back from my Ludkins sub and I love it.
Clear cards are definitely better in slabs than binders.

On the way back to me, will take a week before I get them in hand.
I did send some DBZ, Harry Potter and Yugioh with these.
Arrived at PSA 9 jan, shipped back to me 9 feb ($15 december special)

My first ever PSA return, some nice hits, some duds: PSA Return video part 1
The great S-P hunt continues…
20 cards left to reach goal:
- 265/S-P Coro Pikachu VMAX, which I failed the second time
- 304/S-P Lucario V and 305/S-P Lucario VSTAR - won V through the lottery and ready to send in, still observing if VSTAR has a chance to drop below 2K
- 308/S-P, 318/S-P and 327/S-P - back to PSA to remove particles in the slabs. Hope they don’t get clamped during reholder!
- 337/S-P to 339/S-P Illustrator Contest promos, which didn’t catch last year’s Special
- 340/S-P to 350/S-P EBD Marnie and prize packs, the last group of S-P promos
Almost there! Once the Lucarios are done the rest are just finishing touches!

Nope, I do have some XY-Ps and SM-Ps but they’re mostly theme-based (i.e. “collect all XY-Ps with Base Set layout”, “collect all SM-Ps featuring Mewtwo Strikes Back: Evolution”), it was not until SWSH did I get easier access to promos in general and thus can start on larger goals like all S-Ps. And given the craziness of some XY-Ps and SM-Ps in current market like this and this I don’t think I’ll go back and complete those.
Also I’m better at writing articles instead of arranging collection threads so don’t have that. I might update my S-P set in PSA Set Registry with scans once I stopped slacking on getting that V600 I want, but that’s not gonna happen anytime soon.

I just got my grades of the next return and I feel so sad.
Send over 100 packfresh Skyridge holo’s and reverses and not a single 10.
Next shipment I will do a mix of cards, looks to me if I send only 1 or 2 sets grades are lower…
Sad to hear it man, hope you can get some 10’s next time
