How many of Yahoo’s terms and conditions did that box seller violate, let alone Japanese laws? It would be nice if Buyee reports all this scammery, and if Yahoo reports the seller to the police too. I hope Buyee doesn’t keep quiet about these incidents to protect their status as a high-profile Yahoo middleman. Wouldn’t be surprised though.
To the more knowledgeable people out there in regards to these cards…does anyone know how many copies of each of these RAW cards were given out to people?
I have never had a problem in the three years I have been using Yahoo Auctions, but for the first time a 100% feedback seller with 200+ sales has gone totally silent on me. Unless something unusual has happened to them it seems pretty weird they would sacrifice their perfect rating for a few beat up cards. They have received a couple positive feedback ratings in the last few days too so I am somewhat suspicious but still hoping the seller comes through.
I have contacted them directly but no response so far. In the event that I have to cancel (Yahoo have given me the window to do this) will I also take a hit on my feedback for cancelling? I paid without any problems so that would seem pretty unfair, but seeing as I have never had to cancel a purchase I am not sure of the process. I am not using a middleman service before anyone asks.
I’ve been hit hard lately by a couple sellers with perfect feedback, that has pictures of mint, undamaged cards and what I ended up receiving was quite the opposite. Unfortunately even 100% feedback isn’t fail proof when people get desperate.
But in this case, Yahoo won’t release the money to the seller because they haven’t even begun the process of shipping out the item to me so I don’t really understand what is going on. Unless the seller has missed my order somehow. We are coming up to over a week now.
Edit - and it’s not like it’s a 1000 dollar item that I somehow got for 50. Honestly, I think I overpaid because I ended up in a bidding war. So yeah. Weird one.
I don’t believe there are published print run numbers, just that they were given out at the various Battle Festa events to participants. I imagine they had a ton to go around as evidenced by how many there are circulating.
