You´re the MVP - thanks! Will try to get it canceled as soon as possible. If thats not possible, i will open a dispute as soon as its delivered.
I’ve had the same thing happen to me. You’ll have to wait for it to be delivered and open a case with ebay assuming they just sent junk instead of the card and should be easy to win.
U wot m8?!
Just had this happen to me on a much smaller scale. Took a risk, package arrived, filmed opening it, got burned, opened a case, got refunded.
This is almost certainly a cracked and resealed slab, no?
The front of the slab needs a good PlastX job for sure. If that truly is the original card, then that back makes it one of the roughest overgraded 9 copies I’ve seen.
Some Juice! I got this Dark Magneton for what seemed to be 60% of last sold on HA, in a 7 day auction on ebay, a deal if I say so myself. However to my dismay, I awoke to this in my inbox:
Shocked as to what could have happened, I messaged the seller as to further investigate this situation. This is the conversation that transpired:
Check out his most recent feedback for the on top
Yeah that’s way too red. There are definitely variations of charizard being more ruby but that’s another level
Edit: Also wouldn’t it not pass authenticity guarantee inspection from psa?
Had a similar situation happen. Got a great deal, guy said he dropped and cracked it while packaging. I called his bluff and told him I didn’t care and to send it in the cracked case or raw. He then said “oh oops, this one is good my wife broke a different one. I’ll ship yours out”
The saturation and this weird “cupping” all along the card make me think that it’s a sticker pasted onto a real Pokemon card back. I don’t know, it looks very strange.
And the slab has some unique damage, likely from separating the two pieces of plastic and resealing.
Agreed, sticker would be my guess too.
What unique damage is on the slab?
These cracks and clouding are likely due to the slabs separating.
You’d easily be able to notice it if it was in your hand.
Wow I didn’t even notice the cracks. I thought clouding happened to slabs over time?
Some slabs have a small amount of clouding from the original sealing process, but they don’t get more cloudy over time. At least, not with the newer slab designs.
That’s a new case, frosting is normal. You are fine <3!
Phew
