I donāt like when people try to embarrass others based on where they grew up or currently live, which is why I asked the rhetorical question. I knew people who lived in trailer parks growing up and they felt a lot of shame when others commented on their living situation.

Hey everyone,
yesterday I bought this PSA 9 Mimikyu Scream Promo for 500 Ā£ over german ebay:
I randomly checked new auctions and came across this one a few minutes after it was listed. The card is obviously worth a lot more, so I quickly checked the seller reviews (100% positiv, account is really old), the PSA cert verification and if the slab is damaged.
I couldnt find anything that was āoffā so I bought it.
My question is - what am I missing here? Like pointed out above, the seller itself seems to be legit, the PSA number checks out, there is no damage on the slab, the card itself seems to fit a PSA 9 rating.
Does anyone see anything suspicious or did I get really really lucky?

The sellerās profile is very suspicious, 2 things stood out right away: first the sellerās most recent sales includes a lillie full art trainer with TCA gamingās logo, second the sellerās 6 feedback are all 6months plus and none of them are for tcg related items.

Exactly, and good catch on the same price as the mimikyu. Iām not exactly sure on the best way to proceed from here, perhaps you request a cancellation if you purchased it just now

I already paid for it, so far no response from the seller.
My plan was to wait if the seller ships the card or not. If it doesnt get shipped I obviously would request a refund.
If I get something shipped, I planned to open the package while recording a video of it. If anything is wrong with the item, IĀ“d request a refund over the paypal buyers protection too.
Any other ideas?

Same card, looks like a scammer. Contact eBay and see if thereās anything you can do before this even proceeds further, but you might just have to wait for āsomethingā to be delivered to your address and then open a dispute. Hereās the support chat: Security measure
