The Giant eBay Garbage Thread

I was about to laugh at the idea that a book could be defective. But then I doubled laughed because I bought a book recently and it came like this from factory. I got sent a replacement. I still read it though. So technically not defective enough to stop me.

It was an older book that you can’t find in decent condition without paying up for it. I was just laughing at how I described it in poor condition, with the binding separating. And the reason for return is because it is in poor condition, with the binding separating.

yeah absolutely. If the photos show it, which I’m sure you did, then there really is no excuse. What, did he expect the book to magically repair itself? Very frustrating. Book Binding Pixies don’t exist.

Buyer wanted to go off eBay, I said no thanks and that I like eBay Authenticity Guarantee. Buyer said that my card was overpriced and reminded me of a recent sale in the UK. I said, “Oh, a sale in the UK. Sounds like you should have bought it.” This was his reply.

I received an offer from someone else for $1700 ($100 off my desired sale price) 49 minutes later and accepted it.

100%! I’d rather take less through ebay authenticity or fanatics than do a deal on IG.

How annoying.

It always baffles me when someone is trying to conduct business with me but also gives a bunch of attitude. I’ve had plenty of potential buyers that I turn down solely because I don’t like how they interact (demanding answers, claiming I have no idea what I’m doing, sharing other sales data, etc.), and in many cases I end up selling at a discount to someone else simply because they were polite in their messages and acted like an adult.

selling pokemangs thru g&s with its 6 month protection is a scam waiting to happen…

or at the very least the buyer will try to return it when its gone down by 70%
