$81 auction. Buyer threatens if I don’t cancel the sale he will give me negative feedback for “shill bidding”. I’ve never dealt with this type of threat before. I should just cancel right? And report them to Ebay?
Ship it, receive the negative feedback, and then ask eBay to remove it. You have proof of this person threatening you, so it’ll be a quick resolution.
Or
Cancel it, block the bidder, and move on.
Are we allowed to post names on here? Wasn’t sure so I left it out.
Yes
ig_gem11cards Is the user. Feel free to add them to your blocklist, I sure did.
Yeah, the “hustle + gaslighting” culture is really out of hand. Please, someone, tell me why egos are so fragile? /s/rhetorical/
It’s not Pokémon, but I still found this listing funny. I see this in Pokémon just as much.
Surely that is a misprint, in no way would someone who toploads sleeveless cards to sell as “slabbed errors” on eBay be guilty of poor card care & handling…
A (maybe slightly) better one to make up for my previous post, as it was not PTCG.
Photo marking tools? Especially the ones bundled with my various operating systems? Never heard of them. Super glad the swirl was pointed out in the first place, I certainly would have missed it.
Username doesn’t check out. The Leafeon Lv. X in the top left corner has a yellow border and isn’t holo. Typical fake
How do these people live and breathe without a computer doing it for them?
Oneday soon…
I don’t know where would be more appropriate to post this but this TCGPlayer Feedback I found made me chuckle
Saw this in class and shut down my chromebook immediately…
holy crap you awakened an embarressing one for me from tcgplayer.
I looked to see if I saved it. Like…I couldn’t believe someone would actually do this. It was super embaressing. At this time the mail delivery person was constantly just giving everyone each other’s mail on my street.
Oh I thought the guy was joking ![]()
I was 99% sure I recognized this username and sure enough he caused issues with a past purchase.
I don’t fully remember the details but I sold him a “Pikachu Battle Festa 2014” which tracking didn’t show as delivered, at the time I was using a postal service which didn’t track deliveries in the US (they just suddenly stopped working at the start of the year), he claimed the package never arrived, the postal service on my end requested information from USPS which confirmed it had been delivered but unfortunately there was nothing I could do, 265 USD loss. Everyone should probably block this guy, he’s aware of how eBay works and if he can scam someone he will.
have been disappointed multiple times now on ebay listings for SVP 156/157 with “holo bleed” but they’re just regular holos, no bleed whatsoever. the sellers had plenty of good feedback too, and had photos (of course once i got the card in hand they clearly didn’t match). i don’t wanna name names because ultimately i’m only out like $10-15, it’s just frustrating that people would run such low-margin scams :c
