This sellerās auctions nearly always go a good bit over market price. He provides good customer service and nice extras so many people really like him.
I agree. I opened one of my sealed boxes of Neo 4 a year ago, and there wasnāt a single shining in any of the packs. After that, I decided to leave all the remaining boxes sealed and let others try their luck.
I actually like that seller (they provide great service and mint cards).
That said, there is some wizardry at work because their auctions ends high every time.

I will. Iāve also been eying those Mint EX cards for a long time. They were priced very high and I wasnāt sure if they were worth it. I just bought nearly $500 of cards from Professor Oak and I returned 2/3 of them. I like the guy and the service. Iāll leave it at that.
Can anyone explain to me why 1st ed Deoxys is so rare in japanese. Feel free to answer via PM.
Personally Iād love to own one of these JPN Base boxes 5-10 years down the road.

Not too sure to be honest. They have gone up in value drastically over the past four years as far as I know.
To me it is very expensive yes, however I donāt mind paying a couple hundred extra for something if itās something Iād really like in my collection 
If I had the money Iād buy at least 1 of each Japanese wotc Era box. Til then Iām content with my base starter deck 10 - pack
