Man⌠I havenât seen those pop on ebay for a while⌠it was only a few years ago these boxes weâre around⌠now they are gobbled up!
Also, does anyone know the spill rate for Japanese neo destiny shinings? it wouldnât be the same as the English 2 per booster box. I.E roughly 1:16packs
For Japanese Neo Destiny (Neo 3) the pull rate was 1:30 packs. Neo 4, supposedly was 1:60. They were at a lower pull rate then the English variants and harder to get, however the Japanese did better with holos than the English variant.
I heard a rumor of the 1:300 but it was said that it went with the idea of getting a Shining card for every 300 cards, not packs, so thatâs consistent with the idea of getting 30 packs, full of ten cards, you had 1 card out of 30 packs of obtaining it.
Hmm⌠I read it somewhere in a Beckett magazine a long time ago on the original release of the Japanese and English variants, but Iâm guessing they could be wrong, or I might be forgetful, or hell, I might be wrong!
At least we know for sure that the pull rates were much harder in the Japanese variants. Iâm still skeptical of the idea that it was a 1:300 PACK chance. Just because someone didnât get a Shining doesnât necessarily mean that itâs not untrue. I think every person here has experienced some terrible luck on different accounts.
I couldnât find an official source either to say what it was.
I normally feel strongly about not paying over a certain amount, but i recognize how rare these are getting and see the future proving to be extremely difficult if I waited. Thatâs why I paid a little more than this list price earlier in the year and went ahead and grabbed one.
Anyone that feels this could be a staple part of their collection, or that has a desire to finish a collection in any sort of a timely manner, Iâd advise you to not feel bad about this price at all.
I wouldnât urge anyone to buy one if they werenât going to be happy with it. But no one should feel bad paying this price either.
