You should never, ever purchase ANYTHING with an extended delivery date from any seller unless you 100% know that seller is legit and the product warrants an extended delivery date (e.g., custom-made work).
Why? Because with an extended delivery date you cannot begin return requests/item not received requests until the full delivery range has passed. The seller does not have to provide a single piece of shipping information for that entire duration - you will be told by customer service to wait until the maximum shipping estimate has passed (in this case, 50 days) until you are allowed to submit your case to be reviewed, and it’ll be another couple days before you get your money back.
Winning this auction is a guaranteed way to have $25k+ locked up for the next 2 months, if you’re into that sort of thing.
Someone posted that card before while it was listed as a BIN. I forget who mentioned it, but apparently the seller refuses to provide pictures of the back! That, combined with his description, and now that fact that he copied / posted the PSA Financial Guarantee… LOL That’s definitely the least desirable PSA “10” Copy. He’ll never sell that card!
The seller is clearly aware of the guarantee and put it in the listing description. They don’t include it in any of their other listings. Pretty dishonest to state it’s not a true 10 and refuse to show the back.
I really hope we get to see the actual Snap Pikachu appear some day. Be it PSA graded or raw. I’m sure it would fetch an insane premium if one ever surfaces.
I’d say give it a few months to a year and our dearest SNAP provider on Y!J will list one. Any guesses on how much it’d fetch? I’d say $15-20k is a safe bet.
If we consider a pristine copy, given its exclusivity as a Snap Card and compounded with Pikachu’s intrinsic mascot status, I’d wager that would be a very modest lower estimate, yes. The first appearance of this card should, in theory, result in an all out bid war with a lot of interested parties. Only one way to be sure of course, fingers crossed!
