mine is a card i just bought recently i saw it pop up at auction and as soon as my eyes saw it i knew i had to have it. i think i paid slightly more then the current prices for this card but to me its worth so much more. bidding ended up at $500,000 and now has a home on my fireplace under my picture of our lord.

My crown jewel are these 4 cards:

Card Destruction: The card that started it all! My 1st ever card. Yugioh card, trading card, piece of cardboard, whatever you want to call it! Some kid in elementary school gave me this card and who knew I would be sucked in to this incredible world of trading cards!

Mewtwo: 1st ever Pokemon card in my collection! I traded some Yugioh cards to get it and preserved it in my Yugioh binder. I actually recently submitted it in January to PSA and it came back a 9! If only i loved my other cards like mewtwo when I was younger, they would be in better shape!

Magical Hats: 1st ever holo i pulled, from the 1st ever pack I opened! What luck!

PSA 9 Shining Mew: 1st graded card I bought on my own. I was just so awestruck by the holo pattern and artwork of this card! This card got me back into the Pokemon hobby, where I started my journey on hunting them Shining cards first!

Yes! I feel this. One of my two favorites is my shining Steelix that I pulled from a booster from Walmart back in the day.

Not most valuable but my psa 10 fossil dragonite pulled it from a pack and graded myself so it’s definitly a special one and my favourite artwork !

Same here. My current gem is my PSA 10 1st Ed Dragonite Holo.

It’s got a pretty low pop all things considered. I know they are a tough grade.

I choose this beautiful quadruple. By far the best Venusaur artwork imo. So savage in comparison to that fat toad of the Base Set (Sorry Gary ). Also brought me into “serious” collecting, since I had to look into the fantastic world of Japanese promos for the first time to acquire all the versions.

Nice, I really dig this Venusaur too, got all of these except for the GB version. I really like Sugimori’s initial water color styling for Pokemon, especially Venusaur. It’s very colorful and striking.

That card means a lot to me, more than they would know.

2nd is my PSA 10 Grand Party trainer. As a new collector who has been collecting around the last 6 months, it’s become my gateway into serious collecting
