OK, to be clear the problem is the thread opens to your last read section (correctly) and then jumps back in time to some other post after xxx seconds?

Yes. First few seconds when the thread loads, I can see the latest post, but after the page loads, it just skips to a random post. I tried to find a pattern, because I was noticing that it kept jumping ~20 posts back. However, I think this does not happen to me if the thread count is low, 10 posts or less. For now this is happening only on larger threads.

Exactly. It is about 2-3 seconds before it jumps for me.
I haven’t changed anything recently other than running an update. I just updated again, so let me know if the problem happens again even once after I post this (because then it is still not fixed)
Entered this thread three times now to test. First time, jumped to post #145. Second, nothing. Third, jumped to #145 again. It didn’t say 145/165 (it said 165/165) until I moved a little bit up and down, then the number adjusted to reflect the post I was seeing.

Primarily I’m interested if it happens under these conditions:
Disable themes and theme components
Disable unofficial plugins
Disable all plugins
AND
Disable themes and theme components

if you can make it happen on either of these, that would be very useful to know. If it happens under the second set of conditions, I will file a bug report on the software

Agreed with @c0ll3ct0r, it is still happening. It also jumped me to #145 on this thread and #38 on the Pokemon Lust thread.
I’ll try safemode.

This image was originally uploaded as 6MB at 5K resolution. The res displayed here is the max that it will display. (even if you click “original image”.
There are a some limitations to uploads, I think this is the relevant one:
I’d love to offer completely unrestricted uploads but ultimately every image ever posted will be stored somewhere for as long as this site is running, and that costs money. I guess I just have to ask if 5k resolution is necessary in this case?
An alternative option is to upload on an external site at full resolution and link it here

Wont let me scroll down on the site while on desktop, been like this for a few months now. I have to reste site settings to fix every tiem.
