I keep getting logged out multiple times per browsing session (generally 2-3 times in 20 minutes). I click a post, it logs me out. I try to reply to something, it logs me out as I’m typing.
This has been going on for a few weeks, I just keep forgetting to report it (sorry!).

No, no extensions on site, in-app, or even on my phone itself. I haven’t even changed the site from the default color scheme, haha.
Some users want to click the nothingness instead of the actual text? Sacrilege!
To be fair, I used to click the top banner thinking it would take me to the home page, to no avail.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? It’s a bit hard to diagnose if it’s only happening to one person. I can try updating the site today to see if that fixes it

Something like this feels like it’s specific to your device/browser. I would double-check to see if you have any weird chrome extensions installed

When it started, I thought that may have been the issue, but after making sure everything was updated, it’s still happening. I put my os/phone up in my original comment, but here it is again:

Apple doesn’t allow Chrome to install extensions in-app, apparently. It very well could be my phone, but I haven’t done anything out of the ordinary on it or changed any settings in between when I could stay logged in seemingly indefinitely vs logging me out several times a session.
If it boils down to me just dealing with it, then I’ll continue to enjoy the forum despite it- don’t want to trouble you too much!
I used to have this issue with Firefox on iPhone 12 about half a year ago. But the problem has completely gone away. The most common issue for me was when I opened the forum, it would have me not signed in. But if I refreshed the page once or twice, it’d eventually remember I was signed in. But I haven’t seen that issue in months at this point.
if it keeps signing you out mid-session, it sounds like s session ID or cookie problem. Have you checked cookie settings? Perhaps, chrome’s cookie handling does not play well in Apple’s yard. I recently have been having an issue with an app and how it uses chrome’s cookies (or can’t use the cookies, as is the case) and it keeps failing to connect.

As @xileets mentioned, it does seem more likely to be related to session management. It looks like the _t cookie might be responsible for determining your logged-in status, so, If you haven’t already, I would suggest deleting your cookies in the browser while being on the site. Hopefully this solves it.

I’ve looked in the edit of both, but they’re the both correct @quuador as plain text, so not sure what’s the difference (apart from main post of the thread vs comment in existing thread). They do appear differently in the posts, though:
