A lot of times when they post an image of a card in promotional material or related things, it’s just a digital render of the card and does not include the holo pattern. I think (and hope) that we can pretty much assume it will be holo.
EDIT: Ah, I see you were aware of the leaked copies and were primarily wondering about all online non-holo pictures. In that case @jonbo’s comment above explains it.
Nah, I don’t think the printed any more. I think they had the initial run sitting around until they saw Pokémon center sales start to dip, so they can generate some quick revenue in a downturn market. Never hurts to have a little more income so the printers can keep printing.
Did anyone ever figure out how the real card got found such a long time ago. Has pokemon just been sitting on thousands of these things for 2 years? I’m assuming it was stolen like 99% of all the other cards that were… how does that one company state it “inadvertent releases”
Oh, no. I’ve just missed this promotion. All the slots got quickly filled within a few days (4-5 days?), not surprising but that’s still crazy. Any chance a second promotion will pop up soon? Or are we SOL?
