It’s been about a month since my last pokemon center purchase, but last time I had trouble paying using paypal and I ended up having to use my credit card. Maybe try using another payment method besides paypal and see if that works? Sort of silly because I had the same credit card attached to my paypal and it wouldn’t go through
Is it saying that your payment info is incorrect? I was having something similar and Pokemon support told me to try buying in an Incognito tab and that worked for me. I use Google Chrome.
No I tried multiple payment methods multiple devices, multiple ip addresses. The only thing is the same shipping address because i only have one house. all payment error
Well i got it to work when i tried buying a etb instead of 6 booster packs. Weird.
Try your home address apt 1
Prices are still holding steady at $5 on eBay. It seems like supply of codes are starting to dry up a bit, as there are fewer sellers with 10+ codes available as there were 2 weeks ago.
Purely anecdotal but man, the last 4 SDC’s I’ve ordered have looked increasingly awful. Are they just tired of seeing my name?
Lol no kidding. The one I just received looked like cgc 8/psa 7 condition at best.
How do you reckon the card value will be in the coming new year? :3
I think once the promotion expires on January 1st, people will panic buy available supply as an investment and the price will go to $50-$60, and sit there
1,067 in a PSA 10 as we speak, a fifth of the total pop. I’m assuming (possibly incorrectly) that most of the 10’s have already been graded by now? Curious if the 10 difficulty will result in some pretty good long-term stonk value.
I love how the promotion is about to end in 3 days and eBay sellers are still charging $4-5+ for the code in the US and $30+ in Europe, can’t wait to see the scalpers with 100+ codes left with the surplus of unused ones.
Some of those people sold thousands of codes already. It probably is not worth their time to sell below $4, they have code to write for hacking something else
Writing code for these type of tasks are pretty trivial and low effort/cost. You can write a script within a couple of hours to automate registration to this type of pokemon “lottery” (you do not need to provide any tangible proofs i.e. credit cards etc…)
However, I don’t know how they get the address. I believe it is either close to identity theft if they have used some genuine address sources (post registry etc…) or if they have used randomly generated address and names (which is also quite trivial to do), but in the latter case, it begs into question the weak process that pokemon has put in place or contracted to check those accounts.
I think as we go close to the 31, the value of these codes will converge toward 0.
Well I was wrong (ish). Today is the last day to redeem codes, and they are still close to $5 on eBay and really not that many available. I guessed it would be $2 today in an attempt to dump what is left.
Maybe I should buy some today then!
Out of addresses to ship to. If anyone wants to try these, be my guest.

Thanks I used the first code and it worked. Happy New Year!
Nice! Just marked it as used. Happy new year!
Seems like the 2nd one has been used as well. It doesn’t work for me
