Special Delivery Charizard Lottery

Same! Thanks to your advice, I’ve been ordering one every week and my mom has been ordering one each week for me too (thanks, Mom!)

I bought 20 codes a few weeks back for $5.50 a piece. I would have totally missed this so I really appreciate the advice here.

I am very curious if there are still extra copies at the Pokémon Center warehouse/shipping center if on January 1st, you can get them with any order without a code while supplies last

Even better advice is getting a 3 pack blister and 2 loose packs for like $20.97. Cheapest way to get your SDC

Wait you can redeem more than one per account after a week?! :face_with_monocle:

Exactly on the minute. I have a spreadsheet with time stamps to keep track of used codes and the time order was placed.

If you submit 6 days 23 hours and 59 minutes after last order, you get payment error. If you order at 7 days and 1 minute since last order, it will go through.

That’s good to know! I need to buy a couple codes!

They are still honoring the codes? I figured it would be done by now. Did they put an end date?

When the promotion first started, they said codes are good until December 31st

Just bought two codes from eBay, can’t wait to put my kids through college with these bad boys.

Also, to this day I cannot check out from my desktop – always has to be through mobile. Kind of obnoxious.

I’ve had an issue where if I click through too fast, on links, etc, it will say I’m suspicious. It’s not just you. PkMn Center’s servers are just very picky and probably overly-tuned for bad actors.

It’s like stacking silver

I bought a couple codes last night. First order went through.

My prediction: codes will stay at $5-$7 for the next few weeks, then drop to $2-$3 the last couple of weeks in December.
Once January 5th or so hits, all the inventory of SDC will be out there, and there will be a small buyout at the $40-$50 range as people are trying to grab some for investments. Then the price stabilizes at $60 for a long time since there is so much inventory of the “free” card out there.

I’ve been on the fence about whether or not to buy codes for the remaining few weeks that are left, but I’m definitely leaning towards, “Why not?”

I hadn’t bought any yet, although I did have a couple of extra codes, which I used the last one today. I don’t know, maybe I’ll just do like one or two more and call it good :stuck_out_tongue:

Since the codes can be delivered so quickly via message I just wait until the day before I’m able to place an order again. That way if the price starts to drop towards the end of December you’re getting a better price.

Truthfully… it probably doesn’t matter anyways, anything under $10 at this point is great lol

My 2nd zard actually has good centering. But my Bidoof did as well, and when I opened it, it had all kinds of damage on the back. Wish they didn’t have that white card blocking the back :rage:

Thanks @teraz and everyone else who mentioned you can still use codes every week! Ended up buying a christmas present and getting a zard with the order! :gift:

Are the codes region specific? Can I use a USA code in Canada? I’m asking because a lot of the eBay listings say USA only.

They are region specific

Placing a PC order every Tuesday this month until the window closes – just got the first of those five and the SDC was in awful condition. My first really bad one actually.

Out of the others I’ve gotten, one was near perfect and graded a 10 and the other could 10 (60/40 on the front) – I’ll be sending it (and hopefully some others) in a $15 order later this month. Curious what everyone else’s success rates are given that the early anecdotal evidence showed the QC was rough.
