Given the prices I assume you’re talking about the Traditional Chinese set:
So first of all, don’t panic. It’s not English or Japanese, not 2023, not yet released, and the card inside is still possible to be released in other languages. There’s no reason to FOMO it. There are only two famous cases of Traditional Chinese single prices going wild (EBD Lillie and Victini ex), and neither of those occur until at least half a year later of their releases.
And by “how to obtain” I assume you’re asking “how to obtain with prices as closest
to MSRP as possible” because if you don’t care about costs it will eventually show up on eBay, and you just need to buy from there.
In that case you shouldn’t get them from China, as this is a Traditional Chinese product which will only be released in Taiwan and Hong Kong, and by buying from China you will most likely run into extra costs of routing through China or premium prices set by sellers just like eBay (your best bet will be finding sellers registered in Hong Kong, which requires you to understand some Chinese to look for).
As for Taiwan or Hong Kong, there are some famous local marketplaces or card shops including:
- Ruten (Taiwan)
- Shopee (Taiwan)
- Beehive TCG (Hong Kong)
Scrap some Chinese keywords from the official announcement and search them on the sites should help you find some listings. (I can even find preorder listings on Ruten now as I type this.)
After you find the listings, read this nice thread and you should know what to do next:
