Yeah that’s what showed up for me on Slabwatch @jolteon. Interesting numbers, funny how we were just talking about the Dragon Rayquaza too. I believe it was a European seller so maybe it deterred some bidders.
Oh wow. Price seems not terrible considering the pop report and the popularity of tyranitar. Still, people seem to not be that big a fan of that ex for some reason (I personally like it, though).
Wow that’s a steal honestly. I really think the electric ttar is underrated but that’s just because I like the artwork a lot and it’s super low pop. The last sold was 1600 USd equivalent from a while back. I have heard many say they don’t like this artwork so it seems like it’s a polarizing one.
Some more pricing updates: A lot has sold in March so far. Here are some others that I just saw…
Magmar ex 500 ebay
Raikou ex 92/95 845 ebay
Gyarados ex 825 ebay
Groudon ex CG 1000 ebay
Flygon ex 94/108 460 ebay
Latios ex 96/101 800 ebay (down from private sale high)
Damn, I really need that Tyranitar to finish up my DF set. But I can’t complain, the DF Rayquaza from PWCC just arrived yesterday so I’ll enjoy that in the meantime. Need to let my wallet rest for a few minutes lol.
Not sure what you mean by this. The back looks almost perfect, just a slight white speck in one of the corners. Not my listing but I feel this is a solid 10.
I just got 20 cards back from PSA that were absolutely flawless. They all look identical. No scratches, no whitening, well-centered, etc. (they’re all pack fresh Japanese cards). x4 10’s, x12 9’s, x1 8.5, x1 8, x1 7. x1 6.
That Charizard looks worse than every card I submitted. Based on my experience–not only personal but from watching lots of graded videos to understand what makes what grade these days–those two white dots on the back would’ve been a death sentence for this card from ever possibly getting a 10. And after getting my last batch back where flawless cards mostly got 9’s and this one has two flaws, it makes me think it’d be lucky to get a 9.
You may have just got a very harsh grader sorry to say. I have had quite a few cards come back recently that got 10s with a dot or 2 on the card. It varies grader to grader but generally that zard would still get a 10 today I think.
I can’t imagine a card being flawless and getting a 7, could you add some photos. I’m sure there’s something that is wrong with them or you just got one of the harshest graders ever maybe.
