@pentagon, Brilliant Stars set description says 30 character rares - the rest is speculation. That could mean the âCHRâ rarity cards in this set, which would leave out all the âCSRâ cards for another set. Or it could mean they are splitting up the CHR and CSR subsets into multiple different English sets. Personally, I think the former option is most likely. But I really hope all the CHR cards are kept together and all the CSR cards are kept together. Throwing all the V and VMAX character cards, FA trainers and gold cards into a specialty set would probably be the best choice imo. It would make for a really solid set identity and would probably be enjoyed even more than Evolving Skies. Spreading these cards out over multiple different English sets would be tasteless and ruin the identity of the subset as a whole (but I wouldnât be surprised if they did this).
On another note, that VMAX Mew soft-confirms a black, red and gold Charizard, no? I think the colored outlines on glitter foil is beautiful, but for the first time I couldnât help but think, how many times is Pokemon going to present âgold cards, but againââŚ

With every subsequent reveal from this set I get exponentially more hyped.
I know weâre getting at least ~30 of the 70 character rares in Brilliant Stars per the â30 character card subsetâ mentioned before, and thereâs speculation of the other character rates being in a holiday/speciality set, or split up over multiple sets⌠but DAMN these full art trainers are also amazing, such a great variety.
Bea, Nessa, Juniper, Acerola, Gloria, Galar Friends⌠Iâm so stoked. But I hope the FA Trainers donât follow the precedent set by Tag Team All Stars and end up not coming to English. Thatâs my biggest worry

Itâs crazy how most of the cards in VMax Climax look so nice. Havenât been so excited to open packs since Eevee Heroes.
Finally a new FA Nessa for my waifu display and a FA Prof Burnet to pair with Masked Royal.

Am I the only one who thinks this is simply too much? The sheer amount of awesome artworks is completely overwhelming to me - which is a luxury problem, but still discourages me from even starting to look into the set.

It wouldnât be too much if they spread out the releases. Instead of one every 2 or 3 months, make it 3 or 4 months between sets. Longer print runs and more time to focus on the set.

I prefer it this way tbh. Most recent sets there have only been a couple cards that I care about. Would rather have 1 stacked set that I really like and actually want to open.
