Does anybody know how the Pokemon Company handles payments? I saw a charge on my card when I first did the lottery and now the charge is gone?
I received an email that leads me to believe I won something but im unsure. Also, last time I used Tenso was for my Metal Gear Solid V Pumas back during their release.
What is the MSRP on Japanese booster boxes anyways? Iām finding them on eBay for 150$ CAD.
The Japanese retailer I pre-ordered through sadly had to cancel my order for 2 of the basic boxes - was going to be my annual exception to my collection. Womp womp. Hope everyone else gets a chance to get at least one!
Do we know the pull rates yet? are we guaranteed at least ONE alt-art per box?
I if by alt-art you mean secret rare then yes? I think so? Isnāt that the case with japanese booster boxes?

They were on Pokemon Japans website for around Ā£40 and for pretty much every other set bar a few special sets i have been able to get them on the secondary market for Ā£35-50 consistently. This set it an outlier , It is such a fantastic set and I think it will be a struggle to get any at the standard secondary market price(based on past experience) It is a shame but unfortunately it is what it is. I am holding off, watching from the shadows and waiting to see what happens. I refuse to pay these extortionate prices and if I miss out, well then I miss out. I am fine paying over msrp as it was expected but the current going rate is too much for me to feel happy buying into it. If people are happy to pay what they are being sold for then fair play! It is just not for me.
Justā¦wow. If we lived in normal times with product available for msrp, this is one of the few sets where I would recommend buying one or 2 copies of sealed product over buying singles only. The density of high quality cards is just that high.
yeah but you only get 0-1 copy of the quality stuff per box, assuming they havenāt altered the pull rates.
Tbh I like many of the 69 (nice) regular cards, and buying at least 1 box already gives you the chance to pull multiple V or Vmax eeveelutions. Thatās a huge win if you ask me
Fair enough, to each their own. But for me, if youāre not hitting an alt art eeveeloution then the box is a dud.
1-2 hits per box, you can get 1-2 dud hits though lol! A set where you dont want the gold cards or waifus

And now I ended up getting one box from eBay and one from Amazon Japan, letās see if those actually go through.
Just paid $200 Aud for a box, the artwork on the box is insane let alone some of the alternate arts
Going by the majority of replies in my Facebook group most people have had cancelled orders. Hopefully once japan is a bit further out of the Pandemic card availability increases and prices start coming down
My local scalpers are selling at 105 USD per booster box. Not a bad price compared to Ebay. But I will probably try to get the special box first while waiting for the booster box to drop in price.
I opened two boxes and didnāt get any alt art. Iāve seen sellers on fb open boxes so Iām predicting the pull rates for alt art is around 3 - 4 box for one.
Lots of Japan sellers on the US eBay selling the boosters, no seller feedback and no recent purchases for many of them. This looks to me like a wave of jacked accounts.
Edit: and even with recently changed names, like JapanYouMustTrustUsSoMuchBuyHappyNow. Something like that
