I have recently bought a PSA graded Base Blastoise and I noticed the card seems to be in a sleeve within the PSA case. Seems kinda odd to me.
Has anyone else seen something like this before or is something wrong/fishy with this ?
I believe they used to put them in sleeves (older psa cases) I think Gary may be able to confirm that is isnt fishy…just something they used to do? @garyis2000
I have seen one previously, I think someone has posted a pic of one in a sleeve on here before

The sleeve is wavy/corrugated inside the case. Takes away some of the appeal of the card ^^
It is an older case btw so your theory might be true.
Maybe get it re slabbed?
The only Pokemon card for me that has come back from PSA in a sleeve inside the slab is the Ancient Mew promo, don’t know why they do it
That is also over 3 different submissions, 8 Mews total they always seem to get sleeved.

Yes, over the years a sleeve has often been used to improve fit/reduce movement.
