Old PSA Slab With Inside Film or Plastic Sleeve

Hi All,

I have this old PSA slab that I kept for 20 years and have some kind of film or plastic sleeves on the inside of the slab. Its wrinkly and wasn’t sure if this was original or due to age. Should I be concern for re-slab? I’d prefer the OG style though. Serial starts at zero.

Second question, are Team Rocket booster packs scalable? like on their deacription will say light or heavy.

Thank you!

I’d recase, only negative things can come from keeping as is.

Team Rocket packs are able to be put on a scale and have their weight revealed, how you interpret the weight is up to you. Not sure what you mean about their description saying light or heavy?

People selling the packs have come to the conclusion that they are heavy or light through scales or 2nd hand information, but they may not be trustworthy.
If they say it is heavy, I would ask them what weight it is.

I have a Shadowless Charizard that’s exactly the same - 01 cert and an internal sleeve over the card (with similar wrinkling). PSA used inner sleeves like this once upon a time, so it’s not an age issue with the slab.

Thought about getting mine reholdered too, but there doesn’t seem much point with the current turnaround times. I’ve owned it for years, and there’s no sign of the inner sleeve causing any issues, just that wrinkle messing with the aesthetic.

If anything, the sleeve stops the card rattling around like it probably would in a more modern PSA case!
