PSA Delay- Updated

Thank you both, appreciate the quick responses

Sorry to did this thread up again but at what point do you guys think it is worth contacting psa about the status of orders? Im in day 61/45?

I’m on day 65 of 45…

They just keep saying the same thing to me, and are ā€œexpeditingā€ my order.

See that is why i havent done it yet i dont want some bullshit response and nothing to actually happen but tbh after ryan had a submission lost its putting me on edge a little :joy:

Nothing you can say will speed up the order. Trust me mate.

If anyone is closely following the return dates, my bulk order which was logged on July 16th just finished on the 28th of September.

Since PSA uses nothing remotely resembling FIFO this is meaningless.

My order and others I assume were logged in before that (July 9 for me) and are yet to be completed. Mine was a 104 card Pokemon special. I guess maybe Pokemon special and bulk have different queues but I could swear I saw someone with a Pokemon special logged in later than July 9 that already finished.

Yeah, I’ve been talking to a few people who did the Pokemon special, who had orders logged after the 9th (Mine entered July 3rd) already have their orders completed.

PSA’s reasoning for this, is that supposedly those customer may have called in earlier, and had an ā€œExpediteā€ added to help move it along.

My only question is, is there no system in place to make orders that have been there the longest, some sort of priority to get them done and out asap?? I can’t imagine many orders are on Day 65 with mine, and still gong.

Mine logged on July 2nd right there with you.

I also am on status entered 7/9/18 and still waiting. Nothing really big in mine that has any need to be done right away, so I can be the test object and just see how long it takes haha.

I have orders that are also on day 61.

I sent in 15 subs in June, they logged in early to mid July and some of them came back in just a few weeks.

There’s no system. It’s frustrating but like Gary says, there’s no way to change it, we just have to accept it and move on.

A lime green RUSH D.O.T sticker was on my psa box. This after them saying they would put a rush on it. Seemed to work for me, but apparently it’s all an act… lol. Some in this forum are so certain of themselves. Everything is an absolute.

Have a photo to share of that?

I will try to post a picture later today of the sticker. Has the largest submitter never seen this sticker before? What’s ironic? I’m not saying I’m 100% sure that calling in does make a difference, but for others to say the exact opposite, is a little ridiculous. Gary and others are saying don’t call in. That’s too cut and dry of an answer to this matter.

Many times before I’ve had a green sticker on the box holding my graded cards from PSA, and never before have I called in asking for an expedite.

I can’t force people to not call in. But I can tell them it’s not only a waste of time but counterproductive except under extreme circumstances.

If PSA wasn’t so busy, hundreds of calls daily and only a couple CS reps, they would certainly be more hands on with individual requests. For now they can only handle a couple waaaay overdue situations suspecting ā€˜possible loss and track’. If one of those come up and it gets found, there would be a rush put on it. This is very rare. In 25 years I’ve had it happen only twice. I can live with that;)

I have, also, never called in to expedite any orders. I mentioned before that I had reached around 20 business days over my estimated timeframe. I called to confirm that my order hadn’t been lost in process and that it was just normal delay holding it up. That’s when the rep said she looked at my order, had seen when it had last been worked on, then proceeded to apologize and would have them put a rush on my order. I could care less if my call really expedited the process. Just informing everyone of my experience and to say hey, maybe it did make a difference. You can highly doubt all you want.

And also, I wouldn’t blame customers for wondering if their possessions have been lost. There’s a difference between impatience and concern after an extended amount of time.

@pichael25 You should be entitled to a voucher at that point. Even though the vouchers are usually negligible in their value, they tend to give them out at your wait time.

I have orders from July still at PSA; it simply is a waiting game. This entire situation is because PSA chose to run that Pokemon special for 2 months.

I’ve also had the lime green sticker on my orders, but none of them because I’ve called about the order…
