PSA 9 Shadowless Chansey

I’m potentially going to sell mine but need a good estimation of the value. I know it’s a card that is difficult to get and doesn’t have much sales data. Does anybody have recent sales they could reference?

Seems there’s been some 7’s and 8’s sold.

Id guess… mid to high hundreds?

Pain in the ass to even get a 9 pack fresh. Weird card where the 9 and 10 are very different from the 7 & 8. Wouldn’t price below $1k. Probably would want more.

The last one on eBay sold for $1,000. I personally would value the card at or around $1,200-1,300.

I bought mine for 950 on 5/19/20. One sold a month or two later for 1600. Its been 4 months since then, its gotta be worth 2500-3000 now. At the time I bought mine it was the same value as blastoise which is 2750 now. Pretty sure there is someone on here offering over $1500 for one still.

It’s a difficult card to grade and we are in a bull market. Buyers will be willing to pay a premium. I’d set the minimum at 1500$ but honestly if you wait longer you could get more for it as base is still on the rise.

Apparently Logan Paul bought one for 7k so it’s the new price now

We’re not talking 1st edition. Just Shadowless.

Me neither

Either he’s gonna have a tough time realizing money can’t buy the 10 (pop 14, no one wants to sell) or there will be a truly shocking sale price.

Think it’ll be the latter, money can always buy it, the question is how much.

3000 for a Shadowless 9?

LP just pulled 2 shadowless chanseys (probably 9s) the other day with Leonhart…

it’s weird because the shadowless seems to fetch the same or more than the 1st edition in 9…probably because shadowless 10 is non-existent.

I work at the Pokemon Center

If you sell for less than $3000 today you are selling yourself short. The last two I sold were $2000(private) and $2500(Ebay.)
Most I’ve sold are with PSA 9 sets now.

For a little perspective there have been two PSA 10’s added to the registry since 2017. At the time there were under 200 total graded. Today PSA has seen 800 so in the last three years with over 600 more graded there have been two 10’s.

My Ebay listings are set to not end when the quantity goes to zero so the sales don’t show in the sold history. The people who think it’s a $1000 card are going to have a bad time. Here’s the $2500:

Wow, I’m glad & lucky I bought one off a forum member for $1,250 in early June.

Does a shadowless PSA 9 really beat a 1st edition base set PSA 9? They are both tough grades I think. I have an 8 because I know it’s really tough, but I think this depends on how badly you wanna finish that shadowless set. Personally, I’m happy with my 1st edition PSA 9 valued at 2k.

I feel paying more for a shadowless card is just what someone is willing to pay to complete a set.

For the hell of it… what is the PSA Pop on 1st edition vs shadowless PSA 9?

The pop on the 1st edition 9 is 353, while for the Shadowless 9, it’s 127. It’s by a pretty large margin the hardest to grade and lowest pop holo in Shadowless. I got mine for $1,600 back in early June, which at the time, felt like a lot - but the pop is so low vs. demand that I’m definitely glad I got mine when I did.

Edit: This in fact gives it a lower pop than any PSA 9 in WOTC 1st edition sets until Neo Genesis!

If it’s a good psa 9 - I would say $3700/4200 easy.
Maybe even 5k for someone who really needs it.
Don’t target low ballers. Pay to play baby !!!

I am just sitting here with an evil smile with how I bought a Shadowless Psa 9 Chansey literally last month from a card shop for $400. Yeah it clearly wasn’t worth that so I bought it immediately, so now I never ever have to deal with buying this card ever again for my Shadowless psa 9 collection. I personally thought it was worth +$1000 and that was before the base set boom, that pop report is too low.
