He didn’t jack the price up if you can’t find a seller. Your own op says you’re not matching the last highest sold price even.
Honestly I doubt you’ll get the deal because you’ve raised a red flag. You’re looking for a deal and I highly doubt you’re going to find it on a forum where people are debating if the prices will go higher or not.
You can take this post and kill your thread by making it a shouting match, you can ignore this post, or you can try and get away from you deal mindset and get the card. I’m not interested in detailing your thread further, just giving you perspective/ advice.

Thought I was asking a fair price given the information available at the time, and its frustrating for a outlier sale that can’t be confirmed, to be brought up rather then DM’d. I guess I misinterpreted the tone in which it was shared. Thanks for the advice, I’ll take it into account next time. Mods can close/lock this now, if they think fit.
& For the record, the highest of the Sold for prices is from February, and the other two are from around 2 weeks ago, so I am exceeding the two most recent sale prices with my ask @cullers

it was near mint raw, actually there was a graded 7 (old cert looked crappy on the back) that ended yesterday for over 5.3k I dont know the seller of that one though
or if they paid but Id assume so
Just looked up your listing, based on the pictures I would guess it to be either a 6 or 7.
yeah it was a fair NM in my opinion, I tried doing lots of pics in different lighting so people can judge for themselves. Dude still hasn’t paid I am nervous. I may just buy the booster box I am looking at and if I have to resell the zard so be it. Deals don’t last long these days lol
No problem, I will personally DM you. You might have trouble though considering I’m pretty good at finding deals on raw cards and until recently $600 was the most I have actually spent on a single card.
Good luck with the sale. Lately I’ve had issues with auctions- I’d say only 80% of my auctions get paid. Not horrible, but enough to be an annoyance.
I sold a psa 6 for 3000 private sale if that gives you some reference data help.
