PSA 5 1st Ed Base Charizard - $1900

He doesn’t appreciate the private sales data

The person with the PSA 4 listed on eBay told me they had an offer of $3300. Take that with a grain of salt of course but I asked since I have one of my own. I’d have taken the $3300 and run long ago, though…

I just don’t understand why people think prices has to be higher than the last sold price. This logic is wrong from the beginning.

It’s only a benchmark of the past and can not and should not be used to determine the value of the card itself in the future. Just Let this dude use his reasonable offer. People with the card will respond back and they can make a deal.

Nice try Bieber

zard will always have the shock factor, it always has out done everyones expectation, its one of its redeeming qualities and is why it holds historical value, I predict more of the same moving forward into the far future

I’m so happy the Dark Zard finally getting some respect sub $1000 was just silly

When you come to efour you’re going to pay more for premium cards. This isn’t a selling platform. So you’re naturally on a platform where you’re trying to entice sellers.

I’ve said it before, but I had a listing for my shadowless charizard up and was rejecting about an offer every day for $2000. The reason being I can get that price anyway. Why would I sell it for that price if there’s so many people offering me that? This is the issue with price matching, why would someone who has an exclusive item do it?

Talking about this item specifically, there’s zero on eBay right now. If you think the last sold price is the price it’ll sell for, good luck.

I think this is true. Unlike something such as cars where you can just go to the dealership in the town over to find the same exact car, it’s the scarcity and collectibility that give sellers leverage over the buyers, aka the price. Of course a lot of buyers are going to be upset about this, because it’s not what they’re used to, but it’s the name of the game at the moment ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

OP won’t be happy on the offer I just got on my psa 3 1st ed base charizard

I think at this point this thread has been officially hijacked / become a discussion (not the point of this section of the forum), and any potential sellers dissuaded, for reasons I understand. I’ll create a price check thread before I make another buy post, next time. Or if there was a mega-thread that had all the offers people have received / private sales they want to share about, that would be helpful as well, since that seems to be the primary metric used here.

If mods could close this, I’ll look elsewhere @smpratte.
Thanks!

There is a PSA 4 up on Ebay with an offer over 3k.

This might be a dumb question. That seller told me they got an offer for $3,3000.

But is there a way we can publicly view what offers were sent? Or no?

PSA 4 worth $3000+?! What a time

No. Not that I am aware of. But I believe it. I mean 8s are going for 7k and above and I just watched like a ripped in half raw one sell for almost $1700. Based on that I wouldnt doubt a 4 could get atleast 3k.

well the buyer hasn’t paid for my raw one, so if anybody wants to match the second highest bid (4250)-10% ebay fees let me know later today. I will be opening my cancel request case on ebay at 10pm est.

That’s so annoying. Did you try a second chance offer to bidder #2?

I’m really fed up with auctions where winners aren’t paying. Happened one to many times lately. Record BIN listings yet people can’t hold up their end of the deal with auctions.

I havent offered a second chance I am gonna give the second chance offer to e4 members first

Where can I find the pics? I am interested.

and yes it is my moms account not my main one. Because I figured that she has way more feedback so buyers would be less sketched out. No conspiracies to worry about
