Post Your Resume (No, not that one)

What’s up everyone!

I was having a discussion recently with a buddy of mine about some of our most epic pulls since we’ve been in the hobby. I liked the way he framed it as his pack pulling “resume”. (sorry couldn’t figure out how to put the accent)

For context, we both got back into the hobby in December 2020. He was a big fan of Twitch for various games and he stumbled upon the Pokemon streams. He dragged me into the Pokemon rabbit hole and I’ve been down here ever since lol In Feb. 2021 this dude pulled 2 Burning Shadows Rainbow Charizards from 6 random loose packs from Frank and Sons (IYKYK).

As for me, one of my personal big pulls was when I bought an unlimited Neo Discovery booster pack in early 2021 and pulled a holo Tyranitar. That moment cemented me in the hobby.

So I’d like to hear your stories about some of your most epic pulls from any point in time that you’ve been collecting! Feel free to post a list of your personal chase cards that you’ve pulled to show that “resume”. It can include other TCGs or sports card pulls too. If you have photos from your pack opening(s), please feel free to share too!

Heck yea! I am happy for you that you pulled this one! Opening Evolving Skies is brutal majority of the time lol

I’m known for my bad luck but for some reason I had absurd luck with Supreme Victors.

These pulls equate to roughly 15 packs bought at random in different stores. Not pictured is a regular holo Rayquaza and non-holo Charizard that I pulled from the same packs.

Wish I could open more packs! When I was a kid my parents weren’t too excited about Pokemon cards, especially considering the randomness behind. I now understand their point of view, cause the average result honestly sucked so bad lol, and left me pretty disappointed most of the times.

Average card pulled (I still love them, but you know… not much as a kid):
