I wonder if the price will come down on the merchandise as much as the promos. Really wanted to pick up the Pikachu figure but I wasnt fast enough

Sad that they aren’t restocking… You just know with that kind of announcement, people are going to pounce on the secondary market and prices won’t dip as much
To me , pokemon japan should step in and have a close look at how their brand is managed outside its territory and go for a management check-up in the US and UK. Everything is so poorly managed.
The disconnect between how pokemon center in japan and outside it operate are not even in sync as if we have two different company.
I do hope that this is not the break point for the brand going forward.

Nice from the Pokémon Center… except…
The one obtained from the Van Gogh Museum was the only way for Europeans to obtain it without having to jump through hoops with shipping forwarders. It’s the first ever exclusive to mainland Europe card and it got scalped away from us. And what do we have? No other way to obtain the damn thing other than pay the heavily inflated price North American people will ask for it.

I like the museum version of postcards a lot more, let’s see if can get through in museum webstore to grab a set. Other than that the negativity did make an effect in this for me and i’m just hoping to grab the individual sleeves or at least the komiya ones. If someone managed to buy some sleeves and is planning to open them i can volunteer to throw some money on you

The pokemon center sleeves i mean, the ones that are already on ebay with scalper prices

Haven’t gotten through with my randomly timed attempts in museum webstore and not sure if it’s soon already too late when US wakes up, did anyone manage to buy anything?
Me neither, I managed to get to the size selection of the T-Shirt in the meantime, but still can’t put it in the shopping cart.
